There are volumes of research on the benefits of practicing gratitude. This is as simple as taking a minute every day to reflect on the everyday positive things in your life, and allow yourself to feel the feelings that accompany that gratitude. This has an effect on how your body's cells function, and literally allows your body to work more harmoniously.
So ask yourself what are you grateful for today? 🙏

When it is difficult to comprehend what is happening in the world today, and when we are feeling beyond helpless, sometimes the only answer is to cultivate peace within ourselves. It is scientifically proven that when large numbers of people meditate at the same time, it has a direct effect on other people in the world. And when we bring a comnined focus of peace and unity into that space, that is what is manifested at some level. Take some time today to go within and find your peace. And hold that vision of peace and unity for our world. 🌎 Namaste 🙏

TESTIMONIAL

I first came across Lynne Barker Health in March 2024, during a time when my health was at its lowest. After many years of enjoying good health, I suddenly found myself feeling constantly unwell. In the years leading up to Covid, I’d experienced three significant bereavements, and after contracting Covid several times, I became stuck in a cycle of sinus and chest infections. My body ached from head to toe, I felt constantly exhausted, and I was increasingly reliant on a Ventolin inhaler. I put it down to grief, menopause, and simply getting older.

Then I remembered something that had helped me decades earlier with asthma—bio-energy. I searched online for a therapist and was incredibly fortunate to find Lynne. From my very first session, which combined biokinesiology and bio-energy, I noticed a profound difference. Lynne also helped me simplify the large number of supplements I was taking, leaving me with only what I truly needed and introducing a couple of key additions. The results were immediate and remarkable—I felt as though I had shed 20 years.

After a few more sessions, my health and vitality continued to improve, and now I check in with Lynne every few months if my energy feels low or if I’m recovering from seasonal bugs. Today, I’m sleeping soundly, my body is free from the aches and pains that once plagued me, and my overall wellbeing has been transformed.

Yoga classes will be starting again in the cottage community centre on the 25th September. There are some places left in the men's yoga class from 6.15 till 7.15pm. This class focuses on stress relief and management through a gentle yoga practice, including breathwork and meditation. Among many benefits, yoga helps your posture, strength, mobility, flexibility, sleep, productivity, focus and emotional resilience. So you get all the benefits for your body and your mind.
