Hello,
A national sleep study is being completed by a research team in Trinity College Dublin (Schools of Medicine and Psychology). There is no data on sleep patterns in primary school-aged children in Ireland, yet we know that sleep can have a detrimental impact on education and functioning in children.
We are currently recruiting for a parental survey of children's sleep which includes a standardised sleep measure. A large response rate is essential to see how the survey can inform service and policy development. The study has ethics approval from Trinity College Dublin. We have attached the advertising flier with a QR code and a letter to send out to the parents. We would really appreciate it if you could share this with parents attending your practice or share it via your practice communication channels.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss this further, please let us know. Your assistance with this would be gratefully appreciated.
Attached is the advertising flier with a QR code, and a link to the survey: https://tcdecon.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_bJHRy4YW6LONEQ6
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the research team.
Kind regards,
Wusqa Waqar
