Pancake Tuesday was a wonderful occasion at Bridhaven this week 🥞✨

Our residents enjoyed freshly prepared pancakes served with a wide assortment of toppings, from traditional lemon and sugar to fresh fruit, chocolate spread and sweet syrup 🍓🍫. There was plenty of discussion about the perfect combination, with some carefully curated creations and a few generously topped masterpieces.✨

Events like this may be simple, but they create meaningful moments and lasting smiles for everyone involved 💛

We are delighted to see how much our residents enjoyed this much loved tradition.💞

❤️ We enjoyed a wonderful Valentine’s Day on Saturday, with plenty of smiles and a lovely atmosphere throughout our home. It was a nice opportunity for everyone to come together, enjoy the day, and celebrate the occasion.♥️

The day was filled with good food, even better company, enjoyable moments, and a chance to mark Valentine’s Day in a meaningful way.🎉

A big thank you to our team for helping make the day so enjoyable for our residents and to our residents for being so much fun!🤩.

🍕 Fun at Work Day at Bridhaven 🍕

We had a fantastic time celebrating Fun at Work Day here at Bridhaven with a very competitive and creative pizza making competition. Our team members showcased their culinary skills, teamwork, and plenty of enthusiasm throughout the day.💛

Congratulations to our winner, who was delighted to be presented with her prize, and well done to all our contestants for taking part and making the event so enjoyable for everyone involved.🙏

Events like these are a wonderful way to bring our team together, celebrate each other, and create a positive and supportive workplace environment.🎉

🎉 In the lead-up to St Brigid’s Day, our residents at Bridhaven were busy getting creative, carefully making traditional St Brigid’s Crosses.💛

The activity brought lovely conversation, shared memories, and a real sense of tradition, as residents continued the craft right through St Brigid’s Day itself. It was a meaningful way to celebrate our heritage together and mark the beginning of spring 🌼

✨🌸 Happy St Brigid’s Day from everyone at Bridhaven 🌸✨

Today, on the 1st of February, we celebrate St Brigid, of one of Ireland’s patron saints and a figure long associated with care, healing, generosity and hospitality. Stories of St Brigid tell of her deep compassion for the sick and vulnerable, and of her belief that caring for others was at the heart of community life.✨

St Brigid’s Day coincides with Imbolc, an ancient seasonal festival marking the early beginning of spring, a time of renewal, hope and the returning light after winter. To this day, homes across Ireland mark the day by weaving St Brigid’s Crosses from rushes, placing them in homes as symbols of blessing and protection for the year ahead.

At Bridhaven, we value these traditions and the sense of belonging they create. Today, we take a moment to celebrate St Brigid and to look forward with hope to the season ahead.

🎬 Our residents recently enjoyed a fun and relaxing movie evening at Bridhaven, complete with a resident-choice film - because who better to pick the movie than the stars of the show? 💛 With comfortable seating, great company, and plenty of snacks, it was the perfect way to sit back and enjoy some shared entertainment.🎉
