Today at Bridhaven, we celebrate the wonderful mothers, grandmothers and mother figures who are such an important part of our community. 💖

Mother’s Day is a time to honour the love, wisdom and care that mothers share throughout their lives. We are privileged to spend time with so many incredible women whose stories, warmth and kindness enrich life in our home every day.

To all the amazing mums we celebrate today – thank you for the love you have given and the memories you have created for your families. 💐

🎉We marked International Women’s Day at Bridhaven with a lovely celebration for our residents and team 💜

There was plenty of tea, conversation and of course some delicious cake to enjoy 🍰 It was a simple but special way to recognise the incredible women in our community and spend some time together marking the occasion.

A big thank you to our residents and staff who made the day so enjoyable. It was a wonderful way to celebrate International Women’s Day together 🌷

Today we are celebrating the wonderful women who make Bridhaven such a special place. From our dedicated staff to the incredible women who call Bridhaven home, each one has a story, a strength and a spirit that inspires those around them every day.

This year’s theme, “Give To Gain”, reminds us that when we support and lift each other up, we all benefit. The kindness, care and encouragement shared between our residents and team is a perfect example of how powerful that can be.

✨We were delighted to mark Denim Day for Dementia here at Bridhaven last Friday, 27 February 👖💙

Denim Day for Dementia is a national fundraising initiative encouraging people to wear denim to raise vital funds and awareness for dementia support services, helping people living with dementia and their families across Ireland.

Staff proudly showed their support by turning out in their denim and getting involved throughout the day 👖😊 It was wonderful to see everyone embracing the cause and helping to make a difference.

We also held a raffle to raise funds for this important cause 🎟️✨ Thank you to all our staff and supporters for taking part and helping us raise both awareness and funds.🎉

A big well done to everyone at Bridhaven for making Denim Day such a meaningful and enjoyable event 💙

Today at Bridhaven, we mark Rare Disease Day 2026 by recognising the strength and resilience of those living with rare conditions 💜

Rare Disease Day is an important opportunity to raise awareness, show support and stand in solidarity with individuals and families affected by rare diseases. It is a reminder of the importance of understanding, inclusion and continued advocacy.

🎉 We were delighted to present a cheque to Mallow Alzheimer’s Day Centre following the generous collection held at our Bridhaven Christmas Party 🎄💛

The event, which took place on 17th December, was attended by members of the public and staff who kindly donated in support of this very special cause. It was a wonderful evening filled with community spirit and generosity.💛

A sincere thank you to everyone who contributed and helped us support such an important local service. Your kindness truly makes a difference 👏✨

✨What a fantastic afternoon we had recently at Bridhaven for our Staff Quiz 🎉🧠

There was plenty of friendly competition, lots of laughter and wonderful team spirit throughout 😄👏 Our residents thoroughly enjoyed being part of the fun and cheering everyone on 🎊

A special highlight of the day was one of our residents presenting a voucher to the winner, which made the celebration even more meaningful 💛

Thank you to everyone who took part and helped make it such a great event. ✨

Pancake Tuesday was a wonderful occasion at Bridhaven this week 🥞✨

Our residents enjoyed freshly prepared pancakes served with a wide assortment of toppings, from traditional lemon and sugar to fresh fruit, chocolate spread and sweet syrup 🍓🍫. There was plenty of discussion about the perfect combination, with some carefully curated creations and a few generously topped masterpieces.✨

Events like this may be simple, but they create meaningful moments and lasting smiles for everyone involved 💛

We are delighted to see how much our residents enjoyed this much loved tradition.💞

❤️ We enjoyed a wonderful Valentine’s Day on Saturday, with plenty of smiles and a lovely atmosphere throughout our home. It was a nice opportunity for everyone to come together, enjoy the day, and celebrate the occasion.♥️

The day was filled with good food, even better company, enjoyable moments, and a chance to mark Valentine’s Day in a meaningful way.🎉

A big thank you to our team for helping make the day so enjoyable for our residents and to our residents for being so much fun!🤩.
