⚠️Hundreds Take Part in Second Hyrox Sligo Event⚠️
🏃🏋♀️🏃♂️💪🏃🏋♀️🏃♂️💪
✅On Saturday, February 28th, hundreds of athletes descended upon the Knocknarea Arena to take part in the second Hyrox Sligo event organised by Pulp Gym Manorhamilton. Athletes travelled from all over the country to test their strength and endurance in one of the most popular fitness competitions in the world right now. The demand for Hyrox continues to grow, with tickets for the event selling out well in advance.
✅The Knocknarea Arena and its running track proved to be an ideal location for Hyrox, which combines running with functional fitness exercises. John Maughan, Arena Coordinator, and his team went above and beyond throughout the weekend and worked closely with organisers to ensure the event ran smoothly.
✅Every participant received a unique race t-shirt specially designed for the event, supplied by Jako Ireland, the main event sponsor. Anne and the team at Horan's Health stores, Karol and Emma from Good 4U, and Ciara from Shines Seafood generously provided podium prizes and hampers for the top finishers.
✅A special thank you was also extended to the many volunteers and helpers who gave up their weekend to ensure Hyrox Sligo was a success. Without their hard work and dedication, the event would not have been possible.
✅“We’re delighted with the turnout and the support from the local community,” said Ciaran Clancy, organiser of Hyrox Sligo. “Numbers were up on our first event, which shows how it’s growing. Planning is already underway for Hyrox Sligo 3.0 this summer on August 8th, and based on the interest this year, we expect entries to move quickly when tickets go on sale on Friday, March 13th at 10am through pulpgym.ie/hyrox-sligo and Pulp Gym social media channels.”
