Wow, how time has flown!

Six years ago, I made a decision that changed the entire direction of my life. I was nervous, excited, and TBH a bit terrified - but I followed my intuition and jumped right in.

What's come along since then has been the most rewarding, challenging, wonderful, messy, and transformative journey I've ever been on.

There have been moments when I've wanted to pack it all in and moments I couldn't believe how far I'd come - sometimes on the same day. Through all of it, you've been there.

Your support, your encouragement, and your loyalty have carried me further than you know.

Six years in and I still wake up every day passionate about the work my clients and I do together. I don't take a single moment for granted.

Self-care looks lovely on Instagram.
In real life, it’s often much simpler.

Less aesthetic.
More “lie down for a bit and let your nervous system catch up.”

Sometimes the most effective reset isn’t elaborate. It’s just giving your body a proper chance to relax.

Did you know your ankles hold the key to transformation? 🦋

We often think change is hard - that breaking old patterns takes willpower, struggle or years of work. But what if your body already has the tools to help you change, and it's as simple as knowing where to look?

The powerful energy point, on the outside of the ankles (referred to as safety energy lock 16 or personal energy centre 16), helps to break down existing forms so new ones can take their place. When you hold this point, you're prompting your body to release what no longer serves you and welcome in something better.

Here's how to try it:
Find a quiet moment, sit comfortably, and gently hold one or both ankles. Breathe gently and just let the energy do its work. Even a few minutes can make a difference.

Transformation doesn't have to feel like a battle. Sometimes it just takes a gentle nudge in the right direction. 🦋

What can be done in just a short online workshop?

I used to be very sceptical - my problems seemed overwhelming. It seemed like nothing would change - especially in an hour or so.

When I first experienced the power of micro-breaks or micro-moments, it seemed to simple. I noticed a change in my tension levels but doubted it could make any real difference.

As time has passed, I've come to realise the power of micro-breaks, and have learned why they can make such a difference - in your mind, in your body, and in your day.

I promise not to get to science-y on the day, we'll keep it light, interesting, and relaxing.

Of course, for those who love rabbit-holes, I'll give links to follow-up. Just as a highlight - have you seen Kelly McGonigal's stuff about stress? Have you read Lin's article about how acupressure can improve functioning and quality of life?

I've been busy with my admin, classes, clients, and general life - but I can still take a moment to have a cup of tea.

The key is to exhale, drop the shoulders, and let go of all the worries if just for a moment.
