This special mini retreat includes reflection and discussion on what mindfulness is, exploring simple formal and informal practices you can integrate into your daily life. You’ll then enjoy a gentle, deeply restorative yoga practice followed by a soothing guided meditation.

We’ll finish with tea, treats, and time to connect with fellow yogis and friends in a warm, welcoming space.

A poem from my dear friend, Danna Faulds 💕

A Daily Dose of Meditation

Sitting in the presence of the One
isn't like being under a beach umbrella
or even inside a grove of tall trees,
wonderfully sheltered by their canopy.
No, sitting in that presence is a full-
out immersion in love, as if each
individual cell of me is bathed in
radiance and purity, embraced in a
way no earthly relationship can ever
reach. That's why I sit every morning,
open and noticing, not taking a single
moment for granted. This is where I feel
the most whole. The essence of me knows
my connection with everything else --
no exceptions -- and the sense of belonging
that comes with me into the day helps me
find meaning in the clamor and chaos,
a reason for hope amidst the beauty
and suffering that is all around us now.
Mine would be a very different life
without a daily dose of meditation.
