Samhain Song

Night falls and she rises once again
Deep within the ashes her spirit shines
Blessed is she the last great warrior upon this land who has travelled so many lifetimes to reach her rebirth in the spirit of the fire at Samhain
She is all knowing and all seeing and she has stood for many thousands of years in blessed communication with the many worlds that are within our aching but blessed bones
CAILLEACH is she
CAILLEACH reach me
CAILLEACH teach me how to be me
Break down all of the many bindings that have caught me in a rythmic twist and charred my spirit
I ask for a rebirth in this fire of plenty that you are awakening within me
Come into my spirit oh queen of the turning of the year and burn me back into the bright embered spirit of my own breath
May this night warm the embers inside of me so that they will shine out from within this bodily caste that i have chosen
I surrender to the awakening of an ancient Mother within my Soul
Burn and Rise to make my spirit pure once again
Oh CAILLEACH of the mounds bequeath a blessed brightness once again within my own body so that your wintering will rest lightly upon my shoulders
Warm my insides so that i can weather this darkness until Brigid rises in Imbolcs arms

EHWAZ - A reading of the Runes this morn

Teamwork, loyalty trust and travel

For the energetic changes to occur in your own life please pay attention to the nuances of broken cosmic pieces of your soul and tend to them. In other words wherever you find yourself being carried off into old patterning within yourself, catch it and turn it on its head by bringing firstly attention to it and secondly honouring it. We didnt get where we are today by simply being, we birthed every part of this person who sits here today by wading through the slurry of life when it comes our way.

Honour the times that you had to head first dive into darker places to bring light through again.

Our path is a one of pure perfection that consists of many breakings and shakings and when we begin to bring light to the oldest scars that we carry as a community only then will healing follow. So open up your eyes in your own community which is of course a reflection of your own journey and find the ailment to all that needs your breath of life.

Join Aisling next Sunday in a Gathering of the Old Ways. As we prepare for Samhain, we remember all of the customs, stories, plantlore and crafts connected to this powerful time of year.

We will step into our circle of stones once again as our ancestors once did to connect that the great mystery calling back all of the powrful attributes of our ancestors for winter connection, rememberance, and guidance. Looking to the stars on this full moon rising we will chant back the ancient wisdom into the space to heal that which lies within us unresolved and aching for our attention so that we cqn step into this powrful time where our worlds open up to the great Otherworld and all of its potent medicine. Drawing on our Myths, stories and Lore to bring us back into our own bodies and strengths that lie deep within us dormant and ready to leap forth.

This poem came to me this morning after my first time seeing these gorgeous Seasonal fruits in the flesh. What a treat to my eyes. A lyrical ode to the Amanita Muscaria .... still not brave enough to pick and make into a tincture.. maybe next year 🍄 💫

My Aminita Queen
Reindeers spanning through the ages bringing me back into a time of utter lucid dreaming
Aminita I am in your enrapture
Gazing as I do over and over again at the layers of lush cosmic creation that lavish your body
I am yours for this evening
Breathing in the magic That you so clearly and dearly transmit into the etherical field that manifests itself around you
One time is all I need to gaze at your powerful stare to inhale
The many layers of histories connections to your wisdom
Take me and bless me with your rythmic presence here on Earth
I implore a new connection to the mycelium. Through your viewing

MOTHERS MILK

There are enough people in the world to free the souls of all

There are enough people in the world to make a substantial change

The world is not dependant on just you

The world has much more integrity than to leave every last morsel of work for you to be responsible for

So take your time
There's no need to rush

You have not been burdened with the last great task of saving it all

We all need to step forward and raise our hands together and say

I am ready to be of service to the greatness of the magicians trumpet

I am ready to be a part of the movements towards the epistical openings of the Earths breath

I am able to step out of my home and hold your hand side by side and march to the four corners shouting enough of this missile firing cosmic disaster

Take your guns and throw them to the earth and lay down your violent ways so that together we can create a new paradigm based upon sharing, caring, holding each other up and the knowing that we all originate from the same side

In fact,there are no sides that are a true reflection of the cosmic energies that are at play in this time  for all that we birth from is circular

No sharp edges, just soft mothering curvaceous spirals of the earths form

The earth has an agenda and her agenda is that all these edges be broken into smithereens and opened up so that what is underneath can begin to peep through once again

Wild, Nature herself is birthed from the destruction that has been set upon us by the masculine that has come to a bludgeoned ending
May these edges be carved back into the Mothers shirt so that she can open her buttons and hold us inside her breasts once again
Mother of all we bless the space between us all
May it become a hold land of our Earth again
May it be a shared cosmic existence that we experience here
May all of our walls shatter and be replaced with your softness
Oh bless the space between us as we carve your spirals into the stones once again
Mother us Hold us
and take us to your milk of our beginnings
Take us back to the truths that have been concealed from our essence in this life
We are ready to remember all that you have given us
We are ready to open the blessed space
