The Speech and Language Centre Private Speech and Language Therapy provided from our dedicated clinic based in Mohill County Leitrim

We are a team of qualified Speech and Language Therapists based in Lanesborough, Co Longford. Our clinic is based above Johnston's Pharmacy and The Health Bank near the shore of Lough Ree. We provide high quality private Speech and Language therapy to children in a friendly and homely environment. We are proud to offer best practice services for the assessment and treatment of childhood speech and language issues. We understand the importance of early identification and prompt intervention and will therefore offer your first appointment rapidly, ensuring a swift start to your child’s speech and language progression. We offer services to children in the following areas:

•Speech sound delay/disorder

•Motor speech disorders e.g. dyspraxia

•Language delay/disorders

•Late talking

•Fluency difficulties (stammering and stuttering)

This is a very important sign that you may see on facemasks. It indicates that the person wearing it is deaf or hard of hearing and in some cases wears a hearing aid. In these times (when wearing mouth masks) it is impossible to lip-read, which makes communication extra difficult. Please bear this in mind when you see this sign.
