No one should feel like they have to face things on their own.

Young people aged 16 – 30 across Ireland can now access free, anonymous mental healthsupport through the HSE and Togetherall. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stressed, low, or just need someone who understands - support is available, 24/7.

Togetherall is a safe online community where you can share what’s on your mind, connect with others who get it, and access tools to help you feel better, at your own pace. Because if it’s on your mind, it matters.

Many of us have heard of Sepsis but many of us don't know what it is. In 2024 there were over 12,000 cases of Sepsis in Ireland. The NHS in England have a long standing campaign for patients and their families to ask 'Is it sepsis?' So it's important to know the signs.

Our friends in North East Sepsis Awareness are coming to the Carrickmacross Library to deliver what promises to be an illuminating talk about the condition. All are welcome to attend.

We don’t get enough vitamin D from winter sunlight in Ireland, so a daily supplement is advised from Halloween to St. Patrick’s Day. Older adults and pregnant women should take a supplement all year round. Consult with your pharmacist or healthcare professional to find the correct dosage for you.

The Place Standard Tool helps local authorities and communities assess how the built and social environment supports health and wellbeing.

By exploring themes such as access to services, safety, green spaces and social connection, the tool supports evidence-informed local planning for healthier places.

On this week’s HSE Talking Health & Wellbeing Podcast, we return to the HSE Balancing Stress programme and explore sessions 4–6 supporting low mood, managing stress in relationships, and building resilience for the future.
