📣 Healthy Monaghan ‘Age Friendly’ Funding Application DEADLINE in One Week‼️

Monaghan LCDC, through the Healthy Ireland Fund are seeking expressions of interest from project partners to deliver Age Friendly projects in 2026 under the following Outcomes 👇

📍 Increase the % of adults & children meeting physical activity guidelines 🙌
📍 Decrease the number of people showing negative mental health 🙌

If your organisation has a project that fits one or both of those outcomes, please feel free to complete the expression of interest form at the below link 💯

🛝 Monaghan Playground Passports are available now! 🤸🏻‍♀️🎢🍀

With the longer evenings on the way, why not grab yourself a Playground Passport and visit some of Monaghan's fabulous playgrounds 💯

The Playground Passports are a free, convenient, pocket-sized booklet guide with a map of Monaghan detailing 22 different playgrounds numbered and listed in each Municipal District 🙌

Each playground is accompanied by a QR code and GPS coordinates that will take you straight to the swings and slides! ✔

The guide also includes details of some of the free or low-cost activities in the nearby area for those looking to extend their stay and fill those long summer days out 🤾‍♀️🎯⚽

The Playground Passports are available through all Monaghan County Libraries branches across the county. Make sure to pop in and grab yours and get exploring 💯
