Family Acknowledgement for the Late Aidan Dorrian.

Aidan’s family would like to extend their most sincere thanks and deepest gratitude to those who were kind to Aidan during his lifetime.

We thank the wonderful staff of Saint Agnes day care centre who were so good to Aidan during his time spent there.

We thank Aidan’s wonderful neighbours and friends in Mountcharles and Donegal Town for their kindness and friendship over his lifetime.

Many thanks to Deane Conaghan for his beautiful music on the morning of Aidan’s funeral in Mountcharles.
Thank you to Gallagher Funeral Directors Mountcharles for their professionalism in dealing expertly with all the necessary arrangements associated with Aidan’s passing.

Thank you to all those who sent mass cards and messages of sympathy and who attended the wake and funeral, and to all those who shared so many wonderful stories with us of Aidan’s life and times in Mountcharles and Donegal Town.

We sincerely hope that this family acknowledgement expresses our thanks and gratitude to you all.

Family Acknowledgment.

The family of the late Charlie Meehan gratefully acknowledge and express our thanks to all those who supported us during the time of, and in the months since our bereavement.

A special thanks to all those who attended the wake at Gallagher’s Funeral Home, the funeral service in the Church of the Sacred Heart in Mountcharles, and the internment in the Cranny Road graveyard Frosses. Particular thanks to those who travelled long distances to be with us.
We would like to thank those who sent mass cards, sympathy cards and sympathy messages of one form or another.

A special word of gratitude to Fr. Liam Boyle for his caring support and as celebrant of the Requiem mass. Our thanks to the choir at the Church of the Sacred Heart for their beautiful singing.

We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to Andrew and Eddie Gallagher , of Gallagher Funeral Directors for their professional, supporting and caring manner with the wake and funeral arrangements. Thanks also to the gravediggers. We also wish to thank An Garda Síochana for their traffic management on the morning of the funeral.

A special thank you to the staff of Harbour Lights Nursing Home for their exemplary care of Charlie in recent years. Thank you for your compassion and kindness.
It would be impossible to acknowledge everyone on an individual basis such was the support we received, so please take this acknowledgment as a token of our sincere appreciation.

The death has occurred of John Rodgey McMenamin, Castleogary, Inver and formerly of Aghyaran. Tragically on the 29th March 2026.

He was dearly loved and will be sadly missed by his wife Denise, his four sons; Paul (Gráinne), Stephen, Benny (Edel), Denis (Enya), his three step-daughters; Shannon (Shane), Rachel and Ciara (Paul), his beautiful grandchildren; Amy (Jamie), Shea, Séan, Kian, Conor and Riley.

May He Rest In Peace.

Remains will be reposing at his late residence in Castleogary, Inver (F94YE00) from 1pm on Saturday 4th April and all day Sunday 5th April.

Removal from there on Monday 6th April, going to St. Nauls Church, Ardaghey for Funeral Mass at 11am, with interment afterwards in the local cemetery.

The death has occurred of Thomas (Tommy) Alcock of Dromore, Mountcharles, (F94 RP21), formerly of Rockville Centre, New York, and Athy Kildare, on March 18th, 2026, peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents, Richard and Kathleen, and his brothers, Richie and Liam.

He will be sadly missed by his devoted wife, Kathleen; his sons, Thomas and Patrick; and his daughter Kathleen; his son-in-law, Patrick; and his daughters-in-law, Nicole and Farida.

He will be fondly remembered by his cherished grandchildren, Caoimhe, Ciallí, Andrea, Jack, Paddy, Creegan, Fara, Alexis, Madison, Jack, McKenzie, Krew, Olivia, and Neave, who all adored him; and by his brother, Christy, and his sisters, Junie, Kathleen, and Margaret.

The funeral cortège for the late Eamon Harvey will leave his residence this morning travelling via the back road from Ballydevitt on to St. Mary’s Church Killymard.
After the funeral Mass it will travel via the Blas roundabout, around the Diamond up to the Abbey Vocational School where a guard of honour will take place, and then continuing out to the Tullyearl roundabout and the Donegal bypass to his final resting place in Clar Churchyard.

The peaceful death has occurred of Eamon Harvey, Drimark, Donegal Town, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents Paddy and Roseabell, his brother Jimmy and sisters Kathleen Pryal and Patricia Brennan.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Jacqueline, his children; Camilla (Shane Quinn), Deirdre (Charles Martin), Michelle (Andrew Gallagher), Pauric (Patrice Rooney) and Louise, his adored grandchildren, Lauren, Oisín, Charlie, Darragh, Emma, Alannah, Katelyn and Páidí Joe, his brother Colm (Sheila), sister-in-law Kitty Harvey, brother-in-law Martin Pryal, nieces, nephews, and all his extended family and friends.

The death has occurred of Daniel J. Brogan, Drimcoe, Mountcharles, Co. Donegal, on 13th Feb, aged 87 years, following a short illness.

Daniel will be sadly missed by his cousin Danny Brogan, Munterneese, Mountcharles, his wife Tina and family, Sr. Dorothy Brogan, Maryland, USA, Patricia Rush and family, Philadelphia, USA, his extended family, neighbours and friends.
