Funeral Mass of the late Eamon Harvey

The funeral cortège for the late Eamon Harvey will leave his residence this morning travelling via the back road from Ballydevitt on to St. Mary’s Church Killymard.
After the funeral Mass it will travel via the Blas roundabout, around the Diamond up to the Abbey Vocational School where a guard of honour will take place, and then continuing out to the Tullyearl roundabout and the Donegal bypass to his final resting place in Clar Churchyard.

The peaceful death has occurred of Eamon Harvey, Drimark, Donegal Town, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents Paddy and Roseabell, his brother Jimmy and sisters Kathleen Pryal and Patricia Brennan.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Jacqueline, his children; Camilla (Shane Quinn), Deirdre (Charles Martin), Michelle (Andrew Gallagher), Pauric (Patrice Rooney) and Louise, his adored grandchildren, Lauren, Oisín, Charlie, Darragh, Emma, Alannah, Katelyn and Páidí Joe, his brother Colm (Sheila), sister-in-law Kitty Harvey, brother-in-law Martin Pryal, nieces, nephews, and all his extended family and friends.

May He Rest In Peace.

His remains will repose at Gallaghers Funeral Home, Station Road, Mountcharles, (F94 X02N) on Sunday 1st March from 2pm until 8pm, and Monday 2nd March from 3pm until 8pm.

Remains leaving his late residence on Tuesday 3rd March for Funeral Mass at 11am in St Mary's Church, Killymard, (F94 C6T7), followed by interment in Clar cemetery.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if so desired to the Oncology Unit, Letterkenny.

The death has occurred of Daniel J. Brogan, Drimcoe, Mountcharles, Co. Donegal, on 13th Feb, aged 87 years, following a short illness.

Daniel will be sadly missed by his cousin Danny Brogan, Munterneese, Mountcharles, his wife Tina and family, Sr. Dorothy Brogan, Maryland, USA, Patricia Rush and family, Philadelphia, USA, his extended family, neighbours and friends.

Remains will be reposing at Gallaghers Funeral Home, Station Road, Mountcharles, (F94 X02N) on Sunday (15th Feb) from 4pm until 8pm.

Funeral Mass on Monday (16th Feb) at 11am, in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Mountcharles, with burial afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.

The death has occurred after a short illness of Aidan Dorrian, Mountcharles and Donegal Town, on 12th Feb in Letterkenny University Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents Alan and Susan, and his brother Danny.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his siblings, Deirdre (Seamus RIP), Alana (Conal), Alan Junior (Eileen), Myriam (Peter), his nieces & nephews, extended family and friends.

The peaceful death has occurred of Philomena Porter, San Giovanni Grove, Dromore, Mountcharles, on Friday, 6th February 2026 at Letterkenny University Hospital.

She was predeceased by her beloved parents Thomas and Rosanna, her sisters Anna and Kathleen (Ward) and brother-in-law Benny Mooney. She will be sorely missed by her sisters Bridie (Mooney) and Rosabel (Collins), her brothers-in-law, John P. Ward and John Collins.

She was adored by her many nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, their spouses, as well as by her extended family, friends, neighbours and carers. Aunty Phil or Mena, as she was affectionately known, especially welcomed children into her home and this kindness and her joy for life will never be forgotten.

Her family is grateful to all the staff at the hospital who cared for her, especially during her final illness.

Reposing at Gallaghers Funeral Home, Station Road, Mountcharles, (F94 X02N), on Saturday 7th February from 4pm - 8pm and on Sunday 8th February from 3pm - 6pm.

Requiem Mass in St Mary's Church, Killymard on Monday, 9th February at 11am, followed by burial in the local cemetery.

Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Donegal Hospice.

The death has occurred of Noel Burke, Drumgorman, Mountcharles, (F94 W2H7), peacefully at Donegal Hospice, Letterkenny.

Predeceased by his father, Tommy. Sadly missed by his loving wife Kathleen, his children Pauric (Mary), Claire (Kyle), Marie (Mark), his grandchildren Mason, Ella, Eoghan and Oisin, and his mother Eilish. Cherished brother of John James (Breda), Willie (Mary), Hugh (Rose), Ciaran, Brid, Geraldine (Michael), Kathleen (Tom), and Martina (Adrian). Lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

May He Rest In Peace.

Reposing at his late residence on Friday 6th February from 3pm - 9pm, and Saturday 7th February from 2pm - 9pm.
