Over the next few days meet the tiny humans behind the team!

Can you guess who they are?

This little man you will usually find in our dispensary working away quietly and efficiently making sure our patients scripts are dispensed. He is our go to make sure all our daily orders accounted for!

This little one is a valuable member of our dispensary team! He brings an extensive knowledge of international pharmacy and we have learned so much from him!

She may only be learning her 1,2,3’s here now this cutie manages all our accounts, ensuring all invoices are accounted for and everyone gets paid!

This lady steers the ship from behind the scenes - making sure we all stay on track, buy from the correct suppliers and overall keeping Peter from over-spending because at the end of the day “we are still a business” 😊. Exemplary at what she does, she is always available to all the staff when the boss is with his patients. What would we do without her…?

Now in their fifth decade, McElwee totalhelth Pharmacies are a true Laois family business, having been established in 1975 by James A and Mary McElwee with their first store in O'Connell Square in Mountmellick. Their son Peter is now Managing Director of their three stores also located at Connolly Street Mountmellick, and The Cedar Clinic Portlaoise.
