Following the cyber attack on the HSE IT system we wish to ensure our patients that our service is still fully operational. Please note however that due to the HSE cyber attack we are unable to take Cervical smears and routine bloods as the HSE is unable to process these for us. If you have an appointment for either of these please make contact with us regarding this appointment. Be assured that our IT system is in no way affected by this cyber attack.

We are delighted to have reached Cohort 7 of our vaccination schedule. This includes:
• Previous or current cancer diagnosis.
• Heart Disease.
• Respiratory illness.
If you fall into any of the above categories you may be eligible.
This excludes anyone over the age of 60 and anyone already registered via the HSE’s Online Portal.

VACCINE ROLL OUT UPDATE. We have now given all of our over 70’s patients their first COVID-19 vaccine. We will shortly be moving on to our high risk patients. We will be making contact with those patients in due course to arrange their appointments. We urge all our 60-69 year olds to register for their vaccine on the HSE’s online portal or call the helpline 1850 24 1850. We fully support the HSE’s recommendation of the Astra Zeneca vaccine for this group. .

We are delighted to receive our first batch of COVID -19 vaccines (Moderna) at Mullingar Medical Centre. We will be welcoming all our over 85's tomorrow for their first vaccine.
