We’re proud to have sponsored the National World Mental Health Day Poster Campaign, a groundbreaking collaboration between Mental Health Matters and An Post, creating Ireland’s most inclusive creative initiative dedicated to mental health awareness.
Yesterday, at The Wood Quay Venue, we launched the winning designs of the 2025 National Poster Campaign. The event brought together artists, communities, campaigners, sponsors, and partners to celebrate the power of creativity in breaking stigma and sparking national conversation.
With music, poetry, and inspiring contributions from Minister for Mental Health and Older People Mary Butler, MEP Maria Walsh, Dr. Brian Pennie, and Daragh Fleming, the launch honoured every person who entered the competition, every community who took part, and every supporter who believes in a future where mental health is spoken about openly.
A special word of thanks to Barbara Brennan, founder of Mental Health Matters, whose leadership and lived advocacy continue to inspire meaningful change nationwide. Barbara’s vision has created a platform where experience and creativity spark real dialogue, and that is something we are deeply proud to support.
Congratulations to all the winners and finalists. Your posters don’t just look great, they carry stories, courage, and calls to action that will travel into workplaces, schools, universities, and communities across the country in the run-up to World Mental Health Day.
We were delighted to celebrate with fellow partners and judges, including our own Deputy Chief Operating Officer for Mental Health Services, Ann Morahan, who together help this campaign reach every corner of Ireland.
