Back to Business at EDS Training Solutions

Like all businesses across the island of Ireland, we at Essential Health and Safety alongside our sister company EDS Training Solutions have been busy, busy with our return to work plans. These have involved site visits, risk assessments, signage works, cleaning protocols, PPE considerations and with that adherence to all national and governing body guidelines.

Great to be back on the ground and doing what I love which is keeping my customers and their team safe to the best of my ability.

Thank you to all of our valued customers for the ongoing and continued support and I am looking forward to seeing you all again soon.

COVID 19 Return to Work Assistance With Essential Health and Safety

We at EHS are at present assisting and supporting local businesses and indeed businesses around the country get back to work in a safe, confident and compliant manner. We are working with the Local Enterprise Office, Local County Kildare Chamber and similar organisations in order to ensure our local business owners are focusing on their business and getting their doors open for trade.

We are hosting live and interactive online workshops to do just this from a Consultancy perspective and also from a training perspective alongside our sister company EDS Training Solutions.

A few tips and hits for business owners:

Focus on your business and your business only.

Focus on what you can control and only what you can control.

Look at your business area by area, section by section and task by task and from there commence works on your COVID 19 specific updates, policies etc.

Build your COVID 19 team around you and in doing so ensure you have all the necessary support you need.

Don't be afraid to ask for help. We all need a little ever now and then and now maybe more so than ever.

Returning to Work Safely..... What Exactly Will That Mean for the SME?

Linda Gill Ryan, Managing Director at EHS is working closely with her clients in relation to getting them back to work safely and in a compliant manner. Since the release of the Governments Return to Work Safely Protocol, Linda had been very busy answering her client's questions and putting them at ease as best she can.

Essential Health and Safety back yet again in the heart of the community and this time in the local gym with all the dedicated members of West Wicklow Fitness. Well done to James Kelly, Shelly Behan and Eoin Murtagh for organising the training and all the members for giving up their Saturday morning to attend.

As a member of the gym myself it was a real honour to be in a position to pass on some life saving skills to my fellow members. Thank you to John O'Reilly, John Fitzgerald, Paul and Michelle Brewster from the local Cardiac First Responder group for their assistance also.

Remember, every second counts when it comes to life threatening medical emergencies. Knowing what to do can make a real difference to all concerned.
