This form of yoga restores the body to a state of Rest & Digest
Using props and padding to open the body into a gentle supported seated or lying position for 5-15 minutes at a time, allowing the body to relax while passively stretching & release tension without any additional effort.
This is not an excercise class, the intention is to SWITCH OFF.
As the body is supported in a comfortable position, mindful awareness of the breath will allow for ease into a relaxed state of being, as you are guided through a restoring practice.
This style of practice is particularly beneficial for those experiencing anxiety or high levels of stress.
Expect candles, fluffy blankets, lots of cushions & a chilled atmosphere & a good night's sleep afterwards.Β

Taking time out for your body & mind to simply REST is an excellent way to help recalibrate the nervous system and refresh the mindset. Take some time out for yourself and ease into your week.
