Men’s Aid Clinical Manager Andrea Mc Dermott and Trinity College Associate Professor Melissa Corbally were honoured to attend the first ever Male Victims of Domestic Abuse conference in the John Moores University Liverpool, “Working together to create a positive future for male survivors of domestic abuse”. The day was organised by the wonderful Paul Lavelle Foundation.

Our support group for male victims of Domestic Violence and Coercive Control takes place once a month in Navan and Dublin. This safe and confidential space offers understanding and support for those who have a shared trauma of living with Domestic Violence and Coercive Control.

Honoured and proud to have our Family Law Court Support officer( at Dolphin House , Dublin) participate in a first side chat with Court staff and NGO teams attached to the Court. Many questions around his work supporting Victims of Domestic Violence over the last 5 years , over 2200. Big thanks to the Civic Society Forum at the Courts Service who continue to inspire us all with their determined dedication to making the Victim central to all our engagements.
