We are hugely grateful to the Community for their generous contributions today- we hope the plasters were a surprise return gift 😄. John Sherlock, David King, Shane Mulcahy, Eileen Finn, Gerard Fogarty, Michelle Ryan Slattery, Julie King Dinny and Mike were all out in force today from 9am and were delighted to meet members of the community to talk about the unit and the ambulance fundraiser. A huge thanks to our own family members (Roisin, Kevin, Anne, Teresa King and Kate) and to our friends (Ronnie, Katherine, and Vinny Savage) who helped us out. A special thanks to Cpt. Noel Conroy from the Order of Malta Ireland Ambulance Corps - Portlaoise unit for coming and supporting us also.

Please support the ladies of Capparoe Women's Shed with Christmas Craft Fair. We can vouch first hand for the beautiful Christmas Crafts they have made with great care and we are looking forward to supporting you on the day ourselves. A massive thanks to this group also for making us the beneficiary of their event. We very much appreciate it and what a great gift to give us in the run up to Christmas 🙏❤️

A massive thanks to the ladies in Capparoe Women's Shed who were so kind as to invite us out to Buddy's this evening to announce that they will be donating the proceeds of their upcoming Christmas Craft Fair to our Ambulance Fund. We were delighted to be able to see their crafting first hand and the items that will be available for sale shortly. Míle Buíochas ladies.

Our upcoming Annual Flag Day will be on Saturday, November 8th in town at the usual spots. Proceeds from our flag day will go directly towards the running costs of the Unit and paying our bills.

We are also looking for community volunteers who may wish to help us on the day with collecting. If you do, you can contact us here or text 086-4054301. We would very much appreciate it 🙏.

Our team is covering Kildangan GAA Road Hurling today in support of Tipp GAA. Michelle Ryan Slattery and David King are on duty- a brilliant duo. David King is delighted to be supporting a Kildangan fundraiser today as a former player for the club.
