🦶 The child's foot is not a miniature version of an adult's foot;

🟡 At birth, the bones of the foot are not yet fully formed, being at the cartilage stage;
Only 22 of 26 bones are present at birth; 4 of them develop during childhood, the complete formation ending somewhere around 16-18 years;

🟡 Barefoot walking has a beneficial influence on the correct development of the foot;

🍀 Let the children walk barefoot on surfaces that stimulate their muscles and give them a good biomechanics of the foot: grass, sand, gravel, walking through water ! 🦶🥰👍

Elbow dislocation occurs frequently in children up to 6 years of age, as a result of inappropriate and sudden movements in the wrist or arm made by the parents.
By the age of 6, the ligaments are very weak, poorly developed, which is why the elbow can slip easily when the hand is pulled.

TO AVOID:

🔴 holding the child by the hand to stop the fall;
🔴 forced pulling of the arm at the time of dressing;
🔴 pulling the arm up when the child climbs the stairs or walks faster;
🔴 raising the child's arms or wrist;
