The death has occurred of Martin Marley West London and formerly of Cloggernagh, Glenhest, Newport – peacefully on the 13th February.

Predeceased by his loving wife Mary Marley (nee Gaughan, Midfield), brothers Paddy & Sean, his sister Teresa Gillespie .

Martin will be sadly missed by his family, sons John, Martin, Pearce, Ciaran, Rory and his daughter Maura, his sisters Annie Chambers & Mary Marley, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and wide circle of friends, both in London and Mayo .

May Martin’s gentle soul rest in peace.

Martin will lie in repose at St Dominick’s Funeral Home, Newport (F28 H682) on Monday evening (9th March) from 6:00pm until 7:00pm with removal to St. Joseph Church, Glenhest arriving at 7.30pm.

Funeral Mass for the Repose of his Soul on Tuesday (10th March) at 12 noon with the funeral proceeding to St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Midfield arriving 1.45 approx.

Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, in the wonderful care of the staff of Mayo Hospice, Castlebar.

Predeceased by his parents Tom and Mary, and his brother John Pat.

Tommie will be deeply missed and remembered with love by his devoted wife Teresa, daughters Patricia and Aisling, sons David and Raymond, sons-in-law Darren and Blaine, daughter-in-law Niamh, his cherished grandchildren Shona, Caragh, Doireann, Cianan, Aoife, Michaela, Ethan, Halle and Jack; brother Pat, sisters Margaret, Kathleen, Mary, Ann and Julie, relatives, neighbours and his wide circle of friends.

Tommie will repose at St. Dominick’s Funeral Home, Newport (F28 H682) on Friday evening, 20th February, from 5:30pm until 7:30pm.

Removal from his residence on Saturday morning, 21st February, to the Church of the Holy Family, Fahy, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11:30am, with burial afterwards in Fahy Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Eileen Reilly Kelly, 7 Parkmore, Tuam and formally of Upper Dublin Road, on the 17th February 2026, suddenly but peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in the excellent care of the staff of Galway University.

Predeceased by her parents Sarah Mai and Charles Reilly and her husband Eddie.

Eileen will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her sons Edward and Evan, her daughter Elaine, her daughter-in-law Dawn, her five cherished grandchildren Arran, Summer, Charlee, Rudi and Fiadh, brother James (Newport) and sister Ann-Maire (Headford), brother-in-laws, sisters-in-laws, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, colleagues and close friends of the Irish Wheelchair Association.

Eileen will repose at Grogan’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Tuam (H54 Y677) on Thursday evening (19th February) from 6:00pm until 8.00pm with removal afterwards to the Cathedral of the Assumption.

The death has occurred of Vera (Angela Veronica) Troy (née Bowe), Kilbride, Newport, Co Mayo and late of Dublin and Waterford on the 9th January 2026 peacefully surrounded by her family and in the wonderful care of the staff at the Pilgrim’s Rest Nursing Home .

Predeceased by her husband Barry, brothers Danny, Nicholas, Johnnie, Paul, Michael, Hilary, Raymond and Paddy. Sisters Betty, Anna, Pauline, Noelene, Dorothy and Carmel.

Vera will be sadly missed by her son Christopher, daughter in law Elvira, grandchildren Jessie , Liam, Christopher and Robin, brothers Frank & Carl, extended family, neighbours and wide circle of friends.

Rest in peace.

The death has occurred of Josephine El-Hawary (née Staunton), East Finchley, London, and formerly Glenhest, Newport, passed away unexpectedly and peacefully at home.

Predeceased by her parents, Hubert and Nora (née Moran) Staunton and infant brother John.
Josephine will be deeply missed by her family Gamal, Suzanne, Joseph and Hannah, daughter-in-law Ginny, son-in-law Simon, her grandchildren Lyla and Leo, her brothers Michael and Bertie, and sisters Mary, Kathleen, Annette and Geraldine, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends in Ireland and the UK.

The death has occurred of Paul Sheridan, Rossanrubble, Newport and formally of Manchester, UK on 12th October 2025 peacefully surrounded by his family in the wonderful care of the staff at Galway University Hospital.

Paul will be sadly missed but always loved by his wife of 38 years Michelle. He was wonderful father to his two precious daughters Roisin and Bronagh and a much loved brother to Martin, Debra and Nicola. A special uncle to nephews and nieces, relatives, neighbours and wide circle of friends all over the world.

Rest in Peace.

The family will hold a private ceremony at a later date, as per Paul wishes.
