About Lorraine
Lorraine Commins is the founder of Anam Yoga and Wellness. Anam being the Irish word for Soul. A lover of nature and traveling and being a busy mum, Lorraine is passionate about health and wellness and has been from an early age. As a young child, a key player in many sports and was a team player to her schools’ basketball team, winning an All-Ireland-Senior-A gold medal. For over 10 years, she also pursued her passion as a part-time model all while embarking on a 12 stop around-the-world trip where she fell in love with the healthy lifestyle of that in Australia which led her to studying Nutrition on her return home. Lorraine is a positive advocate for how the role of healthy life choices, wellness and optimal nutrition play in feeling and looking your best.
Today, Lorraine Commins is a yoga instructor, 400TTY having completed two immersion trainings at yoga colleges in both Guatemala and Galway and is a qualified, registered Nutritional therapist dipNT from CNM College of Naturopathic Medicine. Holistically she has now combined her love and passion for dōTERRA sustainable essential oils into the mix to get a complete integrated effect for supporting mind body and soul.
Now, she guides her clients towards making healthy life choices that leaves them feeling and looking their best from the inside out. Lorraine teaches weekly yoga classes, hosts workshops, brings wellness to the corporate workplace, combining all three aspects of the Ayurveda Health Care system - yoga, nutrition and essential oils supporting the physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of health.
