Psychotherapy is confidential. The only exceptions to this confidentiality would be if your health and safety or that of another is threatened, where there are child protection concerns, or criminal activity is involved, and then only the essential information would be shared with those who need to know. GDPR
All your personal data is stored securely and kept for seven years from the last date of contact. After this time all personal data stored about you will be destroyed. Under the Freedom of Information Act (2014), you can have access to any information stored about you, should you request it in writing.

We are delighted to welcome Dawn O’Rourke to Empathy Counselling and Psychotherapy.

Dawn is a qualified and pre-accredited psychotherapist who has completed her training in IICP. She works with adults 18 years and over using an integrative approach and meeting the client where they are at. Her initial approach is client centred with the aim of establishing a comfortable therapeutic relationship with her clients in order to create a non-judgemental space to work within.

Dawn is currently available Monday evenings offering reduced rate sessions. To make an appointment please email dawn7979@gmail.com and leave a message including your phone number.

She is currently pursuing a diploma in Integrative Adolescent Psychotherapy and hopes to offer adolescent sessions in the near future.
