Mum and Baby Yoga term starting Monday 9 June 2025 in Portarlington Community Centre. Last term before summer break.

This term is 4 weeks from 10.30am to 11.30am. Link in Bio with more details. Last term before summer break.

The class is for both mum and baby

For Mum

• suitable from 6wks postpartum vaginal birth or 10wks post cesarean birth.

• You will connect to your breath, restore the pelvic floor, gently stretch upper and lower back, shoulders and build core strength.

• Have fun and bond with your baby while exercising safely

• A great chance to meet new mums in your area too.

For Baby

• suitable from 6 weeks to crawling at speed

• lots of fun, stretching, strengthening & learning for baby

• can help to enhance baby’s digestive, immune, nervous, muscular and circulatory system

• interactive singing nursery rhymes, gentle baby massage and alignment exercises inc some yoga alongside mum.

• the classes are baby-led, so your baby can cry, laugh, sleep or feed throughout the class

Every baby welcome with no pressure to participate during class!

The next Mum and Baby Yoga term will be starting Monday 9 June 2025 in Portarlington Community Centre.

Learning to massage your baby is a great way not only to help relief your baby of any potential tummy symptoms but also to help bond with your baby and grow more confident as a parent. 💆‍♂️💆‍♀️

As you learn how to carry out massage strokes you can sense by touch where your baby needs attention in the body.

Massage can help release oxytocin the love hormone for both you and baby and once you learn how it can be part of your daily routine to help you both relax. 💞

It is also a great way to connect and have a chat with other new parents with newborns over a cuppa tea or coffee and refreshments.🤱🤱🤱 ☕️ 🍰

You can start pregnancy yoga from 12 wks right up until you have your baby🤰The classes are suitable for all levels.

Classes include breathwork, yoga poses beneficial for pregnacy and birth and ends with a relaxing guided meditation.🌻🌻🌻

Below are some of the benefits of Pregnancy Yoga.

😵Reduce stress and anxiety.

💪Increase the strength, flexibility and endurance of muscles needed for pregnancy childbirth.
