🚶‍♀️ Heritage Trail Railway Walk-Tea & Treats-Sea Dip

We’ll begin with a Heritage Trail walk, taking in the scenery and enjoying a relaxed stroll together. Afterwards we’ll gather for tea, coffee and some tasty treats, giving everyone a chance to warm up, chat and soak in the atmosphere.
To finish, for those who wish, we’ll head to the sea for a refreshing sea dip 🌊 - Booking required - Fitness levels best suited to those who are comfortable with a good steady walk 🚶🏻‍♀️

EU PEACEPLUS Day at Dunmurry Dippers

Today marked another meaningful step in our journey as part of the EU PEACEPLUS Programme, as we travelled to visit the now well known Dunmurry Dippers, joined by Boatstrand Buoys and Gulls.

This PEACEPLUS project is rooted in a simple but powerful idea — creating a safe, welcoming space in nature and water where people from all cultures, backgrounds, and communities can come together in the most natural way possible. Since the project began, each gathering has shown just how effective cold water and shared experience can be in breaking down barriers, encouraging conversation, and building genuine connection.

Our first dip under this project was hosted at Carrickfinn, with today’s second dip proudly hosted by Dunmurry Dippers. Both events have been hugely successful, filled with shared stories, laughter, mutual support, and plenty of cold-water courage. The warmth of the welcome we have received at each location has been every bit as powerful as the cold of the water 💙 - Congratulations Rodgers

Dunmurry Dippers’ story of transforming a local town stream into one of Ireland’s most recognised daily dipping spots is a wonderful example of community spirit in action, and a perfect setting for the values at the heart of PEACEPLUS.

A sincere thank you to Dunmurry Dippers for hosting us today and for the generosity, encouragement, and community they shared so freely.
And a huge thank you to Sally Rodgers for all her hard work making all these events possible and inviting us to be part of the EU PEACEPLUS PROJECT 💙

💙 Valentine’s Dip …For the Love of the Sea 💙
Met up with the Portnablagh dippers this morning and received a lovely welcome from such a fantastic group.

Despite the not-so-great weather forecast, the sun shone just when we needed it ☀️
Cold water, great people, great company, and that unbeatable feeling after, truly good for the soul.

Grateful for mornings like these and for the sea that always delivers ✨
