Common Conditions Services.

The State has recently launched a new prescription service from pharmacies.
Pharmacies can now write prescriptions for the following conditions.
Allergic Rhinitis.
Cold sores.
Conjunctivitis.
Impetigo.
Oral Thrush.
Shingles.
Cystitis.
Vaginal thrush.
Our four pharmacists are fully qualified to prescribe for these common conditions. We have been operating the scheme for the past few weeks to become familiar with the operation of the scheme. We are now ready to launch the scheme officially. We have an existing consultation room and will shortly be building a second consultation room to facilitate these new services.
These services are available nationwide in just over 1,800 pharmacies. Some pharmacies will not be taking part.
No appointment is necessary; just call in and one of our pharmacists will see you. (Monday to Saturday inclusive) There is a professional charge for this prescription service. The State has promised to expand this service over the next few years. In the UK, pharmacists can now prescribe for over 35 common conditions.
