The death has occurred Ann Finnegan, née Monaghan, Curragh, Cloonfad, Ballyhaunis, Co. Roscommon and formerly of Cloonkeen, Dunmore, Co. Galway - 26th February 2026, unexpectedly after a short illness at Mayo University Hospital, surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her husband Paddy. Ann will be sadly missed by her beloved daughter Geraldine, son Padraig, grandchildren Natasha, PJ and Kieran, daughter-in-law Michelle, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May She Rest In Peace

Reposing at the PJ Keane Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 5pm -7pm with removal afterwards to St. Patrick's Church, Cloonfad. Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon on Monday with burial afterwards in Cloonfad Cemetery.

Death Notice - 23rd January 2026

The death has occurred of Pat Cafferty, Cloonfad, Co. Roscommon and formerly of Achill Isand, Co. Mayo - 23rd January 2026, peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Roscommon Hospice. Predeceased by his wife Carmel. Pat will be sadly missed by his son Paul, daughter Michelle, sister Mary, daughter-in-law Ann, grandchildren Paul, Sinead, Laura, Jade, Scott, Darren and Dawn, great-grandchildren Erin and Mason, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the PJ Keane Funeral Home on Monday evening from 6pm -8pm followed by removal to St. Patrick's Church, Cloonfad. Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon on Tuesday, followed by burial in Cloonfad Cemetery.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bernadette (Bernie) Donnellan (née Flatley), Culkeen, Cloonfad, Co. Roscommon - 22nd January 2026, peacefully at Claremount Nursing Home, Claremorris, surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her husband PJ, infant son Brian, brothers Martin and Phil and her sister Mary. Bernie will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her sons Pat, Michael, Eamon and Philip, daughters Ursula, Fiona and Denise, and brothers Brian, Sean, Michael and Eamon and sisters Margaret and Noreen, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, her 16 grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Predeceased by her husband John, and her parents, Mary and James. Kathleen will be sadly missed by her daughter, Berenice, and son Thomas, sisters Noreen, Anne and Mary-Jo, and brothers Pat, Tom, Peter, Jimmy and Martin, son-in-law Séan, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Predeceased by his parents Tom and Nellie, and his brothers, Paddy, Seamus, Tom and Joe. The death has occurred of JP Fleming, Williamstown Road, Cloonfad, Ballyhaunis, Co. Roscommon - 10th October 2025, unexpectedly but peacefully in St. John's Unit, Castlebar. Predeceased by his parents Jim and Elizabeth, sister Catherine, nephew Alan and grand-niece Savanna. JP will be sadly missed by his sisters, Maureen and Teresa, his brother-in-law Eddie, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved grandmother Molly (Mary) Keane, née Murray, Cloonfad, Ballyhaunis, Co. Roscommon - 12th October 2025, peacefully in her 101st year at Care Choice Nursing Home, Dungarvan. Predeceased by her husband Michael, son PJ and granddaughter Joelyn, sisters and brothers. Molly will be sadly missed by her sons Michael and Francis, daughters Marion, Ann and Margaret, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

The death has occurred of Liam Nestor, Wilsen, Willesden, London and formerly of Mountdelvin, Cloonfad, Co. Roscommon – 3rd April 2025, peacefully at St. John’s Wood Hospice.

He is predeceased by his parents Patrick and Susanna, brothers Padraig and Eamonn, sister Anne and nephew Brian.

Liam will be sadly missed by his brother and sisters, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and his many friends and neighbours in London and Cloonfad.

May He Rest In Peace

Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Sunday, 1st June at 10.30am in St. Patrick’s Church, Cloonfad followed by the burial of Liam’s ashes in Irishtown Cemetery.
