The death has occurred of Kathleen Geraghty, née Connolly, Gurteen, Cloonfad, Co. Roscommon - 18th December 2025, peacefully at University Hospital Galway. Predeceased by her husband John, and her parents, Mary and James. Kathleen will be sadly missed by her daughter, Berenice, and son Thomas, sisters Noreen, Anne and Mary-Jo, and brothers Pat, Tom, Peter, Jimmy and Martin, son-in-law Séan, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May She Rest In Peace

Reposing at the PJ Keane Funeral Home, Cloonfad from 6pm - 8pm on Saturday evening followed by Prayers and reception into St. Patrick's Church, Cloonfad. Requiem Mass on Sunday at 12 noon, followed by burial in Cloonfad Cemetery.

Death Notice - 4th November 2025

The death has occurred of Séan Kelly, Friars Walk, Dunmore, Co. Galway and formerly of Parke, Cloonfad, Co. Roscommon - 4th November 2025. Peacefully at the Galway Hospice. Predeceased by his parents Tom and Nellie, and his brothers, Paddy, Seamus, Tom and Joe. Séan will be sadly missed by his partner, Eileen, his brother, Frank, his sisters, Mary, Helen and Bernie, his nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the PJ Keane Funeral Home, Cloonfad on Thursday evening from 6pm - 8pm with removal afterwards to St. Patrick's Church, Cloonfad. Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon on Friday with burial afterwards in Cloonfad Cemetery.

The death has occurred of JP Fleming, Williamstown Road, Cloonfad, Ballyhaunis, Co. Roscommon - 10th October 2025, unexpectedly but peacefully in St. John's Unit, Castlebar. Predeceased by his parents Jim and Elizabeth, sister Catherine, nephew Alan and grand-niece Savanna. JP will be sadly missed by his sisters, Maureen and Teresa, his brother-in-law Eddie, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved grandmother Molly (Mary) Keane, née Murray, Cloonfad, Ballyhaunis, Co. Roscommon - 12th October 2025, peacefully in her 101st year at Care Choice Nursing Home, Dungarvan. Predeceased by her husband Michael, son PJ and granddaughter Joelyn, sisters and brothers. Molly will be sadly missed by her sons Michael and Francis, daughters Marion, Ann and Margaret, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

The death has occurred of Liam Nestor, Wilsen, Willesden, London and formerly of Mountdelvin, Cloonfad, Co. Roscommon – 3rd April 2025, peacefully at St. John’s Wood Hospice.

He is predeceased by his parents Patrick and Susanna, brothers Padraig and Eamonn, sister Anne and nephew Brian.

Liam will be sadly missed by his brother and sisters, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and his many friends and neighbours in London and Cloonfad.

Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Sunday, 1st June at 10.30am in St. Patrick’s Church, Cloonfad followed by the burial of Liam’s ashes in Irishtown Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Mary Finnegan
(née McHale), Lavallyroe, Co. Mayo. Peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on 2nd March 2025. She is predeceased by her parents Martin and Mary.
Mary will be deeply and lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of 55 years, Michael, her children Noreen, Michael, Siobhán, Martin and Stephen, her brother Martin and sister Noreen Gallagher, sons-in-law Stephen and Gerard, daughters-in-law Susan, Olivia and Suzanne, her beloved grandchildren India, Raif, Cicely, Daniel, Callan, Nina, Rebecca, Matthew, Noah, Ava, Isaac, Oisín, Fionn, Ethan and Zach, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, extended family, wonderful friends and neighbours.

Mary will repose at the PJ Keane Funeral Home, Cloonfad (F35 KW18) on Wednesday, March 5th from 6pm to 8pm. Funeral arriving to St Patrick’s Church, Cloonfad for Requiem Mass on Thursday, March 6th, at 12 midday. Burial afterwards in Ballyhaunis Cemetery.
