Over the past few months we have seen more cases of neck and lower back pain than usual.

In most cases there have been some common contributing factors.

✅ Working from home on my laptop
✅ Unaware of posture
✅ Poor workstation setup
✅ Working longer hours
✅ Lack of normal breaks
✅ Minimal if any micro breaks

Some of these cases have also had signs of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in the early stages. This condition can be very debilitating if allowed to progress, and early intervention is necessary if a prolonged recovery is to be avoided.

Often, some simple advice regarding workstation setup and work habits are all that is needed to avoid the above issues.

To assist you in this area, we will provide some useful information (on this page) to help reduce the risk of developing a Musculo-Skeletal Disorder while working/studying from home.
