PADDY HANNON, Ardsallagh, Roscommon Town, Roscommon, 16th March 2026. Peacefully, after a short illness courageously borne, surrounded by his loving family at Galway University Hospital.

Cherished son of Maura and the late Martin, loving brother of Ursula, Clare, Damien and Audrey. Adored uncle of Aaron, Caitlin, Ryan, Jack, Scott and Alex.

Deeply mourned by his sister-in-law Siobhan, brothers-in-law Andrew O`Connor and Alan Roberts, his uncles James, Tony and Aiden, aunts Rosaline, Pauline, Ann and Moira. Sadly missed by all his cousins.

Fondly remembered by his cherished circle of loyal friends.

Paddy will repose at Smyth`s Funeral Home, Roscommon Town (F42 NH27), on Wednesday evening, 18th March from 5 o’c until 7 o’c.

Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday morning at 11 o'clock in The Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon followed by burial at St Coman`s Cemetery.

TOM RAFTERY Ballybride, Roscommon Town and formerly of Moate, Creggs, Co Galway. March 13th, 2026; (peacefully) in the devoted care of the staff at Portiuncula University Hospital and previously the loving care of the staff at the Sacred Heart Home, Roscommon.

Beloved husband of the late Anne (née Kilroe), son of the late Malachy and Kate, and brother of the late Nonie and Johnny.

He will be deeply missed by his sons Paul and Aidan, sisters Bridie and Kathleen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Loving and devoted husband of the late Moira (née H***e). Very deeply regretted by his brothers Stephen (London) and Martin (Lucan), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, dear neighbours and friends.

He is predeceased by his sister Bridgie Raftery (Castleteehan), brothers Dominick (London), Jack (London), Tom (Navan) and Paul (Castleteehan).

She will be forever missed by her much loved husband Johnny, daughters Niamh (Castlecoote), Eimear (Rahara) and Dervla (Tipperary), sons-in-law David Mullin and Martin Ryan, her adored grandchildren Oisín, Ruairí and Donnacha, sister Marguerite (Dublin), brother David (Leitrim Village), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

She is predeceased by her parents John William and Margaret Carthy.

EMMA BIESTY The Walk Road, Roscommon Town. February 22nd, 2026, (Peacefully), in her 15th year, surrounded by her heartbroken family, in the loving and devoted care of C.H.I. Crumlin.

Adored daughter to Tara (née O’Callaghan) and Joe and cherished sister to Mark and Amy. She will be forever missed by her family, grandmothers Stephanie and Maureen, uncles, aunts, cousins and her many friends.

BRIAN (BERNARD) CAMPBELL ‘Westway’, Galway Road, Roscommon Town and formerly of Corneddan, Ballinalee, County Longford. February 15th 2026, in the dedicated care of the staff of the Claddagh Ward at University Hospital Galway, following a long illness borne with strength and dignity.

Reunited with his beloved recently deceased wife Catherine (née Forde) and sons Joseph and Gerard in heaven, Brian was the cherished father of Catríona and father-in-law of Shane (Keating) and adored grandad of Kate and Jamie. Pre-deceased by his parents John and Brigid and brothers Pat and Terence. Brian will be very sadly missed by his sister Margaret Casey (Newtownbond), his nieces, nephews, extended family, former Garda colleagues, friends and neighbours.
