DAVID CONNAUGHTON Sandfield, Knockcroghery, Co. Roscommon. (Peacefully) on November 8th, in the wonderful care of the staff in the University Hospital, Galway, surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved son of the late Patsy and Andy, and brother of the late Sinéad.

He will be forever missed by his brothers Brian, Tom, Andrew, Padraig, Aidan, Martin, Noel and Paul, god-daughter Rachel, sisters-in-law Imelda, Deirdre, Loretta, Olivia, Bernie and Aishling, his forever friend Patricia and her family, nieces and nephews Aaron, Ethan, Louise, Aisling, Gary, Ciara, Daniel, Emma, Seoirse, Alisha, Brandon, Mia and Sophie, relatives, neighbours in Knockcroghery and Brideswell, work colleagues in Irish Rail, and a wide circle of good friends.

MARGARET (PEGGY) IGOE (née Salmon) Stonepark, Roscommon Town. (Peacefully) on 7th November 2025, in her 96th year, in the devoted care of Roscommon Hospice and previously Roscommon University Hospital.

Predeceased by her husband Mickey, parents John and Kathleen, sisters Vera and Eileen and brothers Tom, Sean and Mickey.

Treasured mother of Marian (Begley), Kay, Joan (Hannon), Michael, Brian, John and Doreen (Kilroe). She will be forever missed by her family, her brother Joe (Salmon), sister Molly (Orchard), her beloved grandchildren Siobhan, Ciara, Lorna, Oliver, Amy, Michaela, Hannah and Sarah, great-grandchildren Imogen, Elliott, Rua and Senan, sons-in-law Walter, Ollie and Mike, daughter-in-law Kathleen, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Beloved wife of the late Gerry and dear sister of the late William, Pat, Teresa and Mary Margaret (Dowd).

She will be forever missed by her loving son Frank, daughters Mary and Patricia (Tish), sister Celia (Hennigan) granddaughters Ava and Lauren, daughter-in-law Bridget, Tish’s partner Donagh, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many good friends.

RITA COFFEY (Barna, Co. Galway and Lecarrow Co. Roscommon). 29th October 2025; Unexpectedly but peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in the kind and loving care of the staff at the Beacon Hospital.

Pre-deceased by her parents John Joe and Maureen and brothers Paddy and John.

Loving sister of Lillian Byrne (Dublin) and Damien (Carrick-on-Shannon), sister-in-law to Jackie, Auriol, Ann and the late Robert, cherished cousin to Marie, Pauline and John Grenham, adored aunt to all her nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Rita will be sadly missed and always remembered with love and gratitude by her family, wide circle of friends, neighbours and her former Bank of Ireland colleagues.

ITA TRIMBLE (née Cahill) Newline, Kilrooskey, Co Roscommon. October 26th, 2025; (peacefully); in the Roscommon Hospice, surrounded by her much loved family, after a long illness borne bravely.

Forever missed by her beloved husband Seamus, pre-deceased by her infant son Damien, her brother James, her sister Pauline and her parents James and Margaret Cahill (Whitehall).

Remembered with love by her heartbroken family, Caroline (Hughie Kedian), Aisling (Stephen Healy), Dannielle (Peter Malenda), Sharon (Patrick O’Connor) and Ollie Quinn (Karen Griffen), her grandchildren Rachel, Rebecca, Leah, Chloe, Molly, Sofia, Anthony and Jamie, her siblings John-Joe, Marian and Elizabeth, her brother-in-law Patrick, sisters-in-law Mary and Marie, nieces, nephews, her wonderful neighbours, wide circle of friends and all extended family members, 19 Chernobyl children and her 35 foster children and her carers Maura, Anne, Belinda and Ruth.

The death has occurred of Mary Fannon (nee Hogan) on the 19th of October, peacefully, in her 92nd year, in her own residence, surrounded by her loving family and dear friend Anthony.

Pre-deceased by her husband William, parents Thomas and Catherine Hogan, her sons Patrick, Tommy and Liam, granddaughters Paige and Catriona, and her brothers Tommy, Ned, Kevin, Richard, Jimmy, John and Christy.

With deepest sorrow, we share the heartbreaking news of the sudden passing of Anthony on 11th October 2025.

Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his heartbroken family; his wife Mary, children Áine and Anthony, sister Marian, brother Liam, brother-in-law Colin and sisters-in-law Brid, Annie and Jean, nieces Tara, Colette and Sharon, nephew Jamie, grandnieces, grandnephews, Aine’s partner Gerry and wide circle of relatives, neighbours and friends.
