We’ll explore easy, sensory-friendly crafts that residents can also take part in, helping everyone enjoy the warmth and creativity of the Christmas season. Did you know there will be changes to Carer’s Allowance in 2026?

🗓️ From January 2026, the maximum weekly personal rate of Carer’s Allowance will go up by €10.

From January 2026, the Child Support Payment will increase to:

⤴️ €58 for children under 12
⤴️ €78 for children who are 12 and older

And, in July 2026, the weekly income disregard for Carer’s Allowance will increase to:

⤴️ €1,000 for a single person
⤴️ €2,000 for a couple

Roscommon Co. Library is hosting Lunchtime Chair Yoga sessions with Marese Cregg this November and December, and they’re open to all abilities.

Chair Yoga is a gentle, accessible way to stretch, relax and look after your wellbeing, perfect for anyone who wants to move more, regardless of age or mobility.
