The Cloverhill Surgery was opened in January 2011 under the guidance of John Finnegan-Veterinary Surgeon. Previously based in Castlerea John set up the new clinic to cater for his small animal clients whilst continuing with his large animal clients at his Williamstown clinic and also as vet on call. We now have three Vets (John, Rebecca & Claire) at our practice who cater for your large or small animals alike. We also have a full time veterinary assistant Regina & Nicole on site to help with any queries you may have and to order your treatments and liaise with the Vets regarding prescriptions on your behalf, also Colette & Caroline in reception/office.

With the glorious weather at the moment we need to be extra vigilant with our pets.

Heatstroke can happen suddenly and can be fatal. We need to be particularly careful with brachycephalic breeds such as Pugs, French Bulldogs, Bulldogs, Cavaliers etc.

☀️ Please ensure not to leave your pet outside in the blazing sun especially cats.

☀️ Do not walk your dog during the day - wait until the evening time when it is cooler

☀️Avoid vigorous activity such as ball throwing/running etc

☀️ Make sure your pet has access to water at all times

☀️Avoid long car journeys or leaving your pet in the car for long periods of time

☀️Use cooling mats

This little one was found on Wednesday evening wandering around the back of Wag N Tails Pet Shop Roscommon It has a chip but unfortunately the chip isn't registered. Its wearing a purple collar with a little bell on it. Please contact Cloverhill Vets if your missing the poor pet.
