Meeting outside Riverside Hotel. Walks are free with registration taken on the evening.

What an amazing day we had yesterday! The wind was out to play but it played in our favour as wild warriors! 🗡️

The planning for this years parade started in November under the direction of our creative visionary Barbara Bradshaw. The ladies came together all through January to build our very own 40 foot dragon 🐉 Even as Barbara was away in Australia, she was creating costumes for the whole crew. Thanks to their amazing work we won Most Eye Catching float🏆It will be a hard task to beat this next year 😆

The latest Sligo PPN podcast is now live. It was an absolute pleasure to meet Clodagh from Medb's Dragon Warriors Boat Club.
Founded in 2021, their members are Cancer Survivors & their Supporters. Their goal is to live well with, & beyond cancer, supporting each other through the team sport of Dragon Boating.

Clodagh speaks about the benefits of rowing, for both physical and mental wellbeing. She also talks about the Uisce Álainn event, which takes place on May 2nd in Doorly Park, Sligo.

Medb’s Dragon Warriors Dragon Boat Club is open to anyone over the age of 18.

I had the pleasure of meeting Clodagh, who founded Medb's Dragon Warriors Boat Club. Clodagh is the most incredible lady.

Not only does the club help with physical wellbeing, it also helps with mental wellbeing.

Medbh's Warriors core membership have, either directly or indirectly been affected by cancer, but as a club, we they are all inclusive, open to adult women & men.
