Tonight marks our first session of the 2026 Cup OT Parent Support & Advice Group and I am delighted to share that, thanks to the HSE Disability Grant Fund, the service is now available to parents of the Sligo / South Donegal CDNT service users.

• Learn practical strategies to support your child

The waitlist is now open for the Senior Infants Handwriting and Fine Motor Skills

Is your child in Senior Infants?

Do they need support:

Do they need support:
* Holding their pencil
* Body or Hand Strength
* Messy or slow writing, drawing or colouring
* Letter formation
* Using a scissors

Our 6 week handwriting and fine motor skills group will support your child in developing the skills needed to achieve these tasks and allow them to reach their potential. On completion of the group your child will receive an Individualised Home Activity Programme to continue to develop their handwriting goals. This can also be shared with your child’s school team.

⭐️ Maximum 6 children per group

* Have an awkward or immature pencil grasp
* Messy or slow writing, drawing or colouring
* Difficulty with letter formation
* Excessive tiredness after short periods of writing or drawing
* Difficulty when using a scissors

This small group for children 5-8 years old, will provide a supportive environment for your child to explore their interests, develop new skills and have fun with other children their age.
