Peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family, after a long
illness, borne with inspirational resilience and dignity.

Pre-deceased by her parents, Don & Mary Quinn, Carmel will be
forever missed and lovingly remembered by her heartbroken husband Joe, daughter Laura, sons Mark & Conor, their spouses & partner Keith, Aileen & Katie, her adored grandchildren Rory, Luke & Jack, her sisters, Maria (Boon), Jean (DW), Deirdre (Schmidt), Bernie (Doyle), Caroline
(Whelan) and brothers Donal, Gerry and Damien and their spouses and families, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of friends and neighbours.

Rest in peace.
Carmel will repose at her residence (F91H2X3) On Monday evening from 5pm to 8pm.
Funeral will arrive at St Patrick’s Church, Strandhill (F91 P960) on Tuesday for 12 noon requiem mass, followed by burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Scarden.

The death has occurred of Eileen Kearns née McDonagh of Clapham North, South London peacefully at St Thomas’ Hospital, London surrounded by her loving family.

Eileen was predeceased by her parents Joe and Evelyn McDonagh (Lissalough).

Beloved wife of Michael, loving mother of Brenda, Michael and Fiona, and devoted nanny of Áine, Gabriel, Liam, Isabella, Max and Dexter.

She will be sadly missed by her husband, daughters, son, grandchildren, sister Mary, brother-in-law Peter, and brother Francie, sons-in-law Marcus and David, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Reposing at McGowan’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Collooney, Co. Sligo (F91AKW5) on Friday 7th November from 7:00pm with prayers at 8:00pm. Requiem Mass will take place at The Church of the Sacred Heart and St Joseph, Rockfield, Coolaney on Saturday 8th November 2025 at 12pm followed by burial in Kilmactranny Cemetery, via Geevagh, Co. Sligo.
