Good morning,
A very happy Friday to you all.
With the weekend ahead we have our year 1 students for their last class of 2025 😱.
We will have our end of year exam, harvest roots for tincturing, round up of the year, Q&As and a wonderful reading list and assignments to take them through the winter months ready for Year 2 starting next March.
Well done to you all for your wonderful work throughout the year each and everyone of you. I’m very proud to say you are students of the Herbalist’s Apothecary.

Good morning friends,
Happy full moon 🌕.
I love this time of year in the garden, clearing out the old and the dead and exciting new plans for spring.
It’s a wonderful time to work with the seasons and nature as the trees let go of their leaves it’s an easy time for us too to let go of old habits. Releasing that which no longer will serve us in our future and prepare the ground for new spaces in our lives to thrive as we will later harvest the new fruits of our labour.

Good morning friends,
Happy Tuesday 😊😊😊. I love this time of year
It’s the end of September and definitely the end of the season, Humid and drizzling outside so no better time to start a clean up in the Greenhouse, it will soon be time for the heating to go on in here, we will be putting our hardy perennials and biennial medicinal plants into the ground or into our cold frame to be ready for planting in spring when we start our growing your own medicinal garden at home workshops in 2026.
We continue to tincture plants for medicine for our clients throughout the winter months and develop other parts of the garden to make new homes for many wonderful healing allies. All without a single chemical, every thing that comes out of the garden is made into our own compost and goes back into the garden.

It’s all about taking your time and being in the moment it’s not work, it’s meditation, it’s peace, it’s contentment! It’s that simple!
