April is Bowel Cancer Awareness Month.

Bowel cancer is one of the most common types of cancer in Ireland with approx. 2,500 people diagnosed annually. Most people diagnosed with it are over the age of 60 but you can get bowel cancer at any age.

BowelScreen is Ireland’s free national bowel screening programme for people aged 58 to 70, designed to detect the early stages of bowel cancer. If bowel cancer is found early, it’s easier to treat and there’s a better chance of recovery.

Speak with your GP if you’re concerned or experiencing symptoms of bowel cancer, even if you are outside the age range for bowel screening or have had a recent normal screening result.

We’re incredibly proud of our Retail Manager, Jenna Brady, who spoke yesterday at the Retail Ireland Skillnet Retail Learning Summit 2026.

A graduate of the two-year Retail Supervision Apprenticeship (Class of Summer 2025), Jenna shared her inspiring learner journey and the impact of the support she received from the course and from our Group. Her story championed the power of investing in learning and encouraged retail L&D and HR retail professionals to actively support training and development within their companies.

Jenna is a fantastic ambassador for our Group — and thank you to everyone who has supported her along the way to date.
