Today, on World Stroke Day, we raise awareness about the serious impact of stroke and the importance of acting fast and how every minute counts ⏱️

A stroke is a medical emergency, the sooner treatment begins, the greater the chance of survival and recovery.

You can recognise the signs of stroke using FAST:

🔹 F – Face: facial drooping on one side, unable to smile
🔹 A – Arms: unable to lift both arms and keep them raised
🔹 S – Speech: slurred, confused or unable to speak
🔹 T – Time: Every minute counts, call 112 or 999 immediately
Strokes happen suddenly. Every minute lost can mean more brain damage, swift action saves lives.
