We still have excellent availability for urgent appointments tomorrow, Christmas eve. We will be closed for Christmas Day and St. Stephens Day and reopen on Monday 29th December. If you are unwell and need an appointment you will be able to book online over the weekend, but failing that if you phone early in the morning we will do our best to make sure everyone is seen.

Due to industrial action, we expect that Caredoc will not be open this evening. We have added additional capacity with longer opening hours and will be be able to offer appointments to everyone who needs one today and tomorrow. As you may have noticed the council are making changes to the availability of parking around the surgery, to facilitate the installation of a bus stop. Unfortunatly this is causing considerable difficulty during busy periods. Please exercise extreme caution when crossing the road especially if the bus is at the stop. If you can, please consider parking further up the village to allow people with mobility issues access to parking outside the surgery.

In the interest of safety of both staff and patients, the practice will open later than usual tomorrow Friday 24th January. This means some appointments will need to be rescheduled until later in the day. We will contact affected patients today and offer an appointment for later in the day. We currently expect to open at 11am , however if conditions change we will issue a further update tomorrow morning at 8am. Our phone lines will be open as usual, so feel free to telephone us if you have any queries.

As we enter a particularly busy period with a surge in respiratory illnesses, we are pleased to announce extended opening hours for the coming weeks. These extra clinics will only deal with respiratory illnesses such as colds, flu, sore throat, cough and exacerbations of asthma or copd.

It is recommended for everyone aged over 60, healthcare workers and anyone at higher risk.
