🔹️Being ungrounded is a state in which we are no longer fully present in our bodies

🔹️There are many reasons why we can become ungrounded, for example, from anxiety, trauma, overwhelm, dissociation, the use of plant medicines, and some spiritual practices.

🔹️Self Esteem 🔹️
🔹️When we find ourselves focusing on fixing or perfecting our appearance, we can see this as a signal to slow down and check in with how we are feeling about ourselves.

🔹️When this happens, we are usually experiencing difficult emotions and are unsure how to process them.

🔹️While taking pride in how we look is a sign of healthy self-esteem, obsessing about how we look and striving for perfection are signs that out self esteem would benefit from some nurturing.

🔹Journeying into confidence🔹

🔹One of the difficulties we are faced with when stepping into our power is the fear of being seen as arrogant, rude or passive aggressive.

🔹Fear of abandonment, conflict and relationship breakdown may also come to the surface when doing this work.

🔹It is quite natural to have these fears, when we have been conditioned to 'be nice' or to value the needs of others above our own, this is especially true when we have had to become hyper aware of others feelings in order to navigate unpredictable and dangerous situations.

🔹Aggressive and arrogant behaviour is usually rooted in insecurities, where we have learned to demand and shout in order to be heard, or maybe we have learned to belittle others in order to help ourselves feel more powerful.

🔹️When we are truly confident, we are not threathened by others confident communication or differing opinions.

🔹It's important to remember to mind ourselves and to stay connected to our support system when we are doing this inner work.

🔹There will be times when we meet obstacles on our path, we will be triggered by difficult experiences and knowing how to mind ourselves during these times is crucial.
