Due to a cancellation, three places are now available for this Friday’s Tara Morning Meditation.

This class is open to everyone from complete beginners to those with more experience. No experience is necessary.

The session takes place indoors in the Tara Open Studio from 10:00 am to 11:45 am, offering a warm, peaceful space to relax, reconnect and receive.

This gentle morning is for anyone who:
• Would like to learn or deepen their meditation practice
• Feels drawn to the ancient and powerful energy of Tara
• Loves working with angelic energy
• Needs quiet time to rest, reset and recharge

In the early eighties, I had connections with the Maria Andipa Icon Gallery in London. So was able to spend a great deal of time being in this magical space surrounded by the Greek icons. St. John always captured my attention and that connection has carried me through my life, though this is the first time I felt to paint my own version.
John the Baptist was a Jewish prophet, the forerunner of Jesus Christ, known for his wilderness ministry, ascetic lifestyle (camel hair, locusts, honey), and baptizing people in the Jordan River as a sign of repentance for the coming Messiah. He preached imminent judgment and the nearness of God's kingdom, baptizing many, including Jesus, and was eventually beheaded by Herod Antipas at the request of Herodias. He is a significant figure in Christianity, Islam, and other faiths, revered as a prophet who prepared the way for Jesus.
