Our Christmas Memorial tree 2025 will be on Sunday the 21st of December at 5pm. This is our 19th year that we as a community will be together to remember our loved ones. It is our privilege, and we are very proud of this service. The joy it brings us every year meeting everyone for such a touching service fill’s us with so much pride.

Every year for us this is the highlight of Christmas here at Grey’s, as we give back to such a special community. To watch how meaningful this service is to so many people, it is an honour to be part of this community.

We hope you can find some comfort at our service as you place a memorial card upon our tree and take away some candles to light for your loved ones on Christmas day.

Our official blessing by Fr. Conor Hayes and Charlie Wallace will take place on Sunday the 21st at 5 pm, to include some light refreshments courtesy of the Templemore Arms Hotel, music and poetry and a recital by Templemore Pipe band.

All at Grey’s would like to wish you and yours a very peaceful Christmas and a happy new year.

They just went out for a night,
But they never came home,
Leaving so many broken hearts,
Who for them must now mourn..
Five heart's full of love,
Five heads full of plans,
Wiped out in a heartbeat,
By deaths cold cruel hand...
Five funerals now,
Five heart-breaking goodbyes,
Memories will be shared,
And many many tears cried...
Five empty spaces,
When friends gather together,
Five voices now silent,
For always and ever.
Five empty chairs,
At Christmas tables this year,
Five families longing,
To have them back here...
Five young friends,
With still so much to give,
Now with the Angels,
Together they live..
May their eternal love,
Forever now shine,
On all those who miss them,
That they've left behind...
Forever young, but forever gone,
Five lives cut short five lost daughters and sons 💔
