Beautiful Soul
Heaven has gained a beautiful soul
Beautiful and elegant
She arrives at the pearly gates
Her jewellery sparkling with radiant glow
Her first St Valentine's day in Heaven
She is ready to party
To share her love
To shine with all her dear ones
Gone before her
High heels sounding at Heaven's door
Striding along the catwalk floor
Ready to dance
To paint love all around her
Separated hearts now mended
This beauty queen has arrived
Elegant dress sense, not a hair out of place
Make up enhancing a face of beauty
No more waiting for her final destination
Her earthly fashion, style and appearance
Was the outer picture painted with passion
The inner picture extended that beauty
By music, song, art, conversation
As she felt all, her duty
Young, old, sick or full of life
This beautiful soul had time to share
Is this the reason that the Lord gave her
So many years to fulfil her long life
This kind soul will be missed for her beauty and fashion
For her fun, kindness and energy
For a life fully lived with honour and passion
May her memory live on in all hearts to our own final day
So that we can also march up the catwalk
Of Heaven some day.

You left this world so quietly,
With farewells left unspoken,
So many now will grieve for you,
Their hearts forever broken...
The family that you adored,
And cared for through the years,
Are left to ask so many "whys",
And shed many lonesome tears..
You meant so much to all of them,
You were the centre of their world,
With your gentle smile and kindest words,
And your heart made of solid gold..
Everything has changed for them,
Nothing can be the same,
But your memory they'll keep alive,
With so much pride they'll speak your name...
The memories you left for them,
Will now be there greatest treasure,
Tucked up in their broken hearts,
Kept safely there forever...
You'll have received the greatest welcome,
When you got to heavens door,
By all those that you loved so much,
Who had gone on before...
Together now you'll find a way,
To still care for all those you love,
Just minding them now in a different way,
From where you rest above...
Your spirit will find a way,
To help to keep them strong,

The cross given to us by the Sisters of Mercy lovingly restored to it's original condition which will preserve it for generations to come and will take pride of place in Our Funeral Home. Thanks so much to Jordan Lewis who gave hours lovingly restoring it, it's a reminder of the kindness shown to us at all times by the Sisters and we will remember them each time we look at it, we originally borrowed it from them as I had no cross in the funeral home 30 years ago, they very kindly gave me a loan of this one and when the convent closed, gave it back to me as a lasting memory of the service we provided for them since my Dad's time, something we were always very proud of.
