Yoga is a uniquely personal healing treatment going deep into the cells of the body, your mind and your Soul. It’s not for everyone, but it is for anyone. You really wont know if you are an ‘anyone’, unless you try.
Classes generally begin with a sitting meditation, some breathing to re balance the body after the day, Yoga postures to warm the body up, and postures to stress the body and ease out excess contraction in parts of the body...and then formal breathing practices for stress relief and contentment. Lastly relaxation, end game.
I am blessed to work with all ages, in organised groups in primary and secondary schools, in colleges and privately. Class format is simple, and almost always has a theme. However, I can tend to go off theme, off track and end up using a little intuition to find what the group really needs.
