"STRESS" it is a word we hear quiet a lot. Stress and stress related illness are among the most prevalent health problems in modern society. Stress effects our physical (body systems) and mental well being. Massage is one form of helping alleviate the many problems stress can cause. Holistic Massage induces a state of deep relaxation. This state allows the body to restore its own energy and healing can begin. Massage can ease tension, soothe aching muscles, improve blood and lymph flow and give a feeling of well-being.

In our every day Life our bodies work extremely hard. Each muscle has a particular purpose and job to do. The muscles in our backs for example are more complex than we think and sometimes we can take for granted how hard each of those muscles work on a daily basis. Sometimes it is not until we feel pain that we realise there is a problem. All the usual things can cause us to have pain in our muscles if carried out over long periods of time ..i.e sitting at a desk incorrectly, lifting, carrying, stress. I know we hear all these things time and time again but if you can just take a moment every once and awhile and watch how you carry yourself through out your day at home and at work you may see the little things you do wrong that eventually may lead to bigger problems in later life.
