HOLYCROSS ABBEY CHRISTMAS BAUBLE DESIGN COMPETITION: To enter, create a festive bauble, snap a pic & send it before Friday 5th Dec to WhatsApp 086-1665869 or hbparishoffice@gmail.com (include name & age). After 11am Mass on Sun 7th Dec, entrants will decorate the Abbey Children's Christmas Tree, the winner will be announced & they will switch on the Abbey Christmas lights with Fr Celsus. This will be followed by Refreshments & Selection boxes in The Dormitory Upstairs.

Michael Flanagan R.I.P.
The death has occurred of Michael Flanagan, "St. Mary's", Galbertstown, Holycross, Thurles, Tipperary
Suddenly at home. Predeceased by his parents John and Mary-Ellen, infant daughter Miriam, sister Madge (Margaret) and infant sister Mary, his beloved cousin Paddy Doran and his wife Mary. Deeply regretted by his loving family; wife Kathleen (née Maher), son John, daughters Aileen (O'Donnell, Clerihan), Michelle, Kathrine (Maher, Dunkerrin) and Mary-Rose, their partners Jane, Dermot, Séamus and Tommy, grandchildren Eva, Conal, Moya, Ruairí, James and Ellie, brothers Tom, Bill and John, sister Mary (Hunt), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and many friends.
The family would like to thank all the Doctors, Nurses, Carers and Healthcare professionals who looked after Michael over the years.

Sarah (Sadie) Ryan RIP
The death has occurred of Sadie Ryan (née Ryan), Fertiana, Holycross. In her 95th year. Peacefully, surrounded by her family. In the wonderful care of the staff of the Slievenamon Unit, Tipperary University Hospital and Padre Pio Nursing Home, Holycross. Predeceased by her husband Donal, sons Gerard and Michael, sisters Sr. Louise, Kitty (Skehan) and Noreen (Scott). Deeply regretted by her loving family, daughter Margaret (Ryan), Ann (Kennedy) and Angela (Hickey), adored grandchildren Gerard, Eoghan, Margarette, Sarah and Róisín, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law Har (Kennedy) and Jimmy (Hickey), sister Sr. Philomena (Lily), nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, sister-in-law Ann (Scott), cousins, relatives, great neighbours and a wide circle of friends. The death has occurred of Eleanor V. Meagher, Fertiana, Holycross, Thurles on August 24th, 2025 in Port Jefferson Station, New York, U.S.A.
Wife of the late Thomas F. Meagher (Curraheenduff, Coalbrook, Ballingarry S.R.). Mother of Elaine Wood, mother-in-law to Thomas and Jennifer Meagher, grandmother to Matthew Wood, Sarah Wood and Sullivan Meagher, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
