Try this practice with your partner, friend or close family member.
This practice assists in nervous system regulation, assists in somatic releasing, inner child healing, chakra balancing, grounding, heart health and beyond.
It’s a really nice way to enhance a deeper connection, bring stillness and softness into yourself and your partner. Witnessing one another’s vulnerability, authentically.
Honour one another throughout this process.
You can do this in any order your like.
Begin back to back and focus on deep breathing. Allow your breath to naturally synchronise with your partner.
Next, face each other and intertwine your legs. Forehead to forehead. Again, try to match your partners breath. Allow yourself to relax completely.
Place one hand on your partners heart. Gaze into each other’s eyes. This may feel weird at first, you may laugh, you might cry. Whatever happens, allow and surrender to the feeling.
Finally sink into each other’s warm embrace. Heart to heart. Stay here for as long as you wish.
