Our IACP CPD approved and recognised Certificate in Integrative Sand Tray Stories is a highly experiential, hands-on, in-person sand tray therapy training at The Greenane Centre in Tipperary.

This training will develop and broaden participant’s theoretical knowledge and technical skills ensuring the safe, ethical and effective utilisation of Integrative Sand Tray Stories with adolescent and adult clients.

In order to ensure the integrity of this programme a strong emphasis is placed on participant engagement and immersion in their own Sand Tray Stories.

Dr. Karen Treisman is coming back to Greenane!

We are so excited to have Karen deliver her highly acclaimed workshop on Genograms : Making Genograms more Relational, Meaningful, Creative, Expressive and Engaging.

Karen will bring her dynamic and relational presence to this workshop which promises to be highly insightful, practical and engaging. This workshop will offer participants a range of practical and creative tools and techniques for exploring and creating genograms with children, teens, adults and for use within reflective spaces and supervision.

Workshop Focus:
· Practicalities around working with Genograms.
· Genograms as part of Assessments and Interventions.
· Making Genograms more Creative, Meaningful and Relational.
· Exploration of a range of materials and mediums to use in Genogram Work through a Creative Lens.

📖Just finished reading Mindfulness for Compassionate Living, by Dr. Patrizia Collard in preparation before commencing my post grad in Mindfulness next month. I think this is a real pretty book a nice coffee table book, it would make a lovely gift. I received it as a gift from a student cohort recently 💕This book is a gentle guide that merges mindfulness practices with the principles of compassion. The book is structured to help readers develop a deeper understanding of both concepts and their significance in everyday life.

⭐️Dr. Collard begins by explaining the fundamentals of mindfulness—being present and fully engaged in the moment—while also addressing the importance of compassion for oneself and others. She emphasises that cultivating compassion can lead to improved emotional well-being and healthier relationships.

⭐️The book includes a variety of practical exercises, meditations and reflections, which I really liked, designed to help readers implement mindfulness and compassion into their daily routines.

🌈Key themes include recognising and managing negative thoughts, fostering self-acceptance and understanding the impact of compassionate actions on one’s community.

Throughout, Dr. Collard draws on current research and her own experiences to illustrate the benefits of mindful living. The aim is to empower readers to create a more compassionate world, starting from within.
