As the year draws to a close, I would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

It has been a very busy and productive year, but it was also hugely enjoyable. I was never more grateful to have such wonderful friends and family who supported me through everything this year.

In 2025, it was an honour to work with and help so many people and families throughout my District and our County, and I look forward to continuing my work into 2026.

Christmas is a time that people come together to celebrate and it is a time to reflect, but it can also be a very lonely time for many, so if anyone is finding things difficult or would just like to talk during this festive season, then please send me a message and I will give you a call.

It has been an incredibly difficult few weeks in our Coummunity, with some very tragic events occuring, with several young lives lost on our roads. May their families and friends find comfort during this time.

My thoughts are also with the Kennedy and McCarthy families this festive season, as we all wish Evan a very speedy recovery.

Let us hope that 2026 will be a happy, safe and peaceful time for us all.
