Springhouse Therapy Centre

Springhouse Therapy Centre Springhouse Therapy Centre provides therapeutic support for mental health and wellbeing. Our services are available to adults and children in County Tipperary.

Will and Ellie offer creative arts psychotherapy sessions for groups and individuals. Creative arts psychotherapy is a form of psychological therapy which uses creative mediums to communicate and explore feelings and issues. No previous experience in any creative activity is required. It is a chance to play, express and explore in a safe and comfortable environment. Clients can participate in individual or group sessions which may include the use of drama, movement, story, myth, improvisation, voice, play, puppetry, art and music. Through interaction, play and creativity we can discover new aspects to ourselves and find new ways to cope with life’s challenges.
‘The creative arts therapies offer a supportive environment, where people can communicate and work through emotions using the art form as a vehicle for emotional self-expression, interaction and change.’ - IACAT 2021

Ellie and Will are qualified Drama and Movement Therapists registered with the Irish Association of Creative Arts Therapists (IACAT) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). 💛 World Su***de Prevention Day 💛
Today reminds us how powerful listening and connection can be.

For children and teens, support often means:
✨ Safe spaces to share (through words, play, or art)
✨ Gentle naming of feelings
✨ Consistent presence and check-ins

Conversations save lives. Let’s keep them open. 🌱

Join Will Pritchard Creative Arts Psychotherapist & IFS therapist MA, HCPC, IACAT, for an Online Focusing Workshop

Discover Focusing – a gentle, body-based practice for working with your felt sense of situations. Learn how to attune to the subtle messages within your bodymind and respond with compassion and curiosity. This process can open up new insights, fresh perspectives, and meaningful shifts in how issues are held in the body.

Workshop includes:
* Understanding the felt sense
* Working with elements beyond our words and concepts
* Supporting others to connect and deepen this awareness
* Exploring how the felt sense can be expressed creatively
* Understanding the bodily felt shift and healing that Focusing can offer
* Discussing how Focusing can relate to therapeutic modalities and forms of care.

Whether you’re a therapist, healer, carer, educator, artist, or simply seeking more clarity and ease in your own life, we will explore how this practice can support you in profound and practical ways.

Investment: €60
Duration: 3 hours
Date and time: Friday 3rd of October 2025
Booking: message Will on +353 (86) 457 8548 or email springhousetherapycentre@gmail.com

“Focusing is a mode of inward bodily attention that most people don’t know about yet. It is more than being in touch with your feelings, greater than just thinking about a problem, and different from body sensations. Focusing occurs exactly at the interface of body-mind. It consists of specific steps for getting a body sense of how you are in a particular life situation. The body sense is unclear and vague at first, but if you pay attention it will open up into words or images and you experience a felt shift in your body. In the process of Focusing, one experiences a physical change in the way that the issue is being lived in the body... The whole issue looks different and new solutions arise.”
