Yesterday, our Earn as You Learn participants completed their Intellectual Disability Studies module. Delivered by the SJOG team, this marked the first time SJOG fully facilitated the module — a great achievement for everyone involved. The programme concluded with an engaging presentation from the Skills for Life group, giving students a valuable opportunity to learn directly from the people supported by the service. The Earn as You Learn programme allows participants to work as Health Care Assistants while completing a QQI Level 5 qualification in Health Service Skills.
