Thank you to Mary for sharing her feedback, we recently cared for the lovely Ally when she crossed over the rainbow bridge. 🙏

“Our mam lost her beautiful dog Ally very suddenly after 15 wonderful years. She was part of all our lives, and we were absolutely devastated, especially Mam.

We contacted Conor at Resting Pets Waterford, and from the very first conversation he was kind, compassionate, and so understanding. He talked us through everything and took such great care of Ally.

When we arrived, Conor gave us all the time and space we needed with her, which meant so much during such a difficult moment. Mam was very anxious to have Ally back home, and the process was incredibly quick and respectful — we left her with Resting Pets on Tuesday afternoon and she was back home with Mam on Thursday morning.

The beautiful little casket, paw prints, lock of hair, and tube of ashes were a lovely tribute and brought real comfort to our family.

I would highly recommend Resting Pets Waterford to anyone who has lost a beloved pet. Conor was truly a pleasure to deal with during such a heartbreaking time.”

“I recently lost my beautiful girl Jilly unexpectedly. To say I am devastated is beyond words. 💔

My friend Craig reached out with me to Conor at Resting Pets. Conor was so helpful and compassionate to us both and dealt with the whole matter with such empathy & understanding. He explained everything what was available to us etc.

Jilly is now home with me in a beautiful casket with photograph of her on the front. We also received two beautiful pawprints in framed prints and some ashes and fur in viles as keepsakes.

Thank you so much for making this whole process as bearable as could be. I highly recommend Resting Pets for their professionalism and most importantly empathy towards people's loss. Nothing was too much trouble.”

We are very grateful to Aoife for sharing her experience with Resting Pets following the passing of Cocoa earlier this month, predeceased by her sister, Honey 🙏🧡

“Eamonn could not have been kinder and more compassionate. My partner and I were reassured leaving our lovely little cat Honey in his care and her ashes were returned very quickly.

We are updating this review to thank Connor for his wonderful service and care of Honey's sister Cocoa who died this week (January 2026) at the great age of 19 and a half.

The kind and patient treatment we received is appreciated so much and the little touch of including every colour of Cocoa's fur in the keepsake bottle was such a lovely and kind thing to do. We had damaged Honey's little casket by accident and Connor insisted on replacing it.

Resting Pets are highly highly recommended by us. They are second to none in their service and care.”

“On Friday we had to say goodbye to our beloved Daisy. Resting Pets took good care of her and today we brought her home.

Her casket and paw print were so lovely, so too was her vial of hair.

Recently, the beautiful Toby crossed the rainbow bridge and through our doors. Thank you to Samantha for sharing her experience 🙏

“We recently lost our beloved Cocker spaniel Toby. We were completely devastated, but From start to finish Connor was amazing, From collecting Toby from the vets to delivering his ashes back to us, along with some treasured keep sakes. I couldn't recommend him enough.

It's a horrible time for any pet parent to lose a beloved pet, but Connor took care of all the details with such respect and understanding. Picture below includes the scatter tube of ashes along with Tobys paw print in clay and some of his fur and a little vile of his ashes for us.”

Recently, the lovely little Alfie passed through our doors, his family shared this message 🙏🏻

“I recently lost my best friend, Alfie. Resting Pets were so good to look after him. I was able to bring him home the day after his passing in a lovely hand made wooden box that was engraved with his name, date of birth and the date I lost him.

They also gave me two little viles with some ashes and fur and also a photo frame with a mould of his paw print. Its means so much to me to have these little tokens of Alfie that I will always cherish.

I would highly recommend Resting Pets, thank you again for looking after my little pet.”
