Excited to share I will be running a block of group play therapy sessions again this Summer ☀️

Is your child starting “Big school” in September and feeling anxious about the transition?
I will be holding a play therapy group for a 6 week period to support children in navigating this transition.

The sessions will explore feelings of anxiety as well starting big school, through play and creative arts.

The group will be held by a qualified play therapist, who has experience working in early years. Yvonne will create a safe and welcoming space for the children to explore feelings and make new connections and friendships.

This will be small group setting. Spaces are limited to ensure the therapist can provide a safe space to all the children taking part.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mammys out there — whatever form that takes. ❤️

Through my work, I get to meet some of the most amazing biological mammys, foster mothers, stepmothers and grandmothers. All showing up, all doing the absolute best they can for their little ones.

And not forgetting the childminders, preschool teachers and teachers who so often step into a mothering role… my own kids were definitely blessed with some of the very best. ❤️

Thinking today of anyone grieving the loss of their own mammy. And remembering my own Nana too, with this being the first Mother’s Day away from the wonderful sons she raised.

Play Therapist Imani will be running Creative Mindfulness classes with a Therapeutic element on Thursday evenings. Creative mindfulness is fantastic for children struggling with anxiety, anger, and big feelings in general. Being part of a group also gives them the feeling that they're not alone ❤️

This month we welcomed the lovely Imani. Imani is a qualified play therapist in her final year of studying her MA in Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy.

Imani currently has 2 spaces for play therapy left on a Wednesday morning

This day 4 weeks ago I gave birth to a lovely little boy. Please bear with me as my response times have became slower then normal as I adjust to life as a busy mum of 3 on little sleep 😅

Hi everyone,

Just a quick update — I’m currently in the final weeks of pregnancy, so I appreciate your patience as my response time may be a little slower than usual. That being said, I’m still working behind the scenes, responding to queries and referrals to the best of my current ability.
