The death has occurred of James (Brendan) O’Rafferty, Castle Abbey, Trim, and formerly Clonard, Co. Meath, and New York, 8th November 2025.

Brendan passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, in the wonderful care of the staff of St. Joseph’s CNU, Trim.


Beloved husband of the late Catherine (née Carmody), loved and cherished father of Cathy and Judith, adored and adoring grandad of Isobel and Rebecca. Brendan will be sadly missed by his daughters, grandchildren, son-in-law Ken, brother Bernie, sister Marie (Forde), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Predeceased by his parents, Patrick and Julia, and by his brothers, Rev Fr Pat, Kevin, John and Louis.

Held Forever in our Hearts.

The death has occurred of Helen Doran (née Kelly), Willow Green, Atlumney Wood, Navan, formerly of Trim Co. Meath, and Carrick-on-Shannon Co. Leitrim.

Peacefully, on the 7th of November 2025, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.

Beloved wife of Cialin and loving mother of Alan, Colin, Maria, Claire, Jennifer and Carmel. Devoted Nana to her fifteen grandchildren.

Deeply regretted by her sons, daughters, grandchildren, brother Dermot, sisters-in-law Cynthia and Maura, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

The death has occurred of Anne (Nancy) Richardson, née Norris, Knightsbridge Mews, Trim and formerly of Kensal Rise, London and Maperath, Kells, Co. Meath.


Peacefully in her 98th year, surrounded by her loving family, Therese Donovan, Anna-Marie Callaghan, Clare Macleod, Paul, Rozarii, Bernadette and Dessie Lynch.


Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Gerry, her parents Jack and Delia, her sisters May and Bridie Norris and recently, by her cousin Pauline Lynch.


Sadly missed by her cousins Kathleen Galvin, Christy Norris and all the Norris family, her nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews, extended relatives and her lifelong friends and neighbours.

The death has occurred of Kenneth (Ken) Dunne, Effernock, Trim, Co. Meath and formerly of Donabate, Co. Dublin, October 30th 2025. Peacefully at the Mater Hospital Dublin after a lengthy illness surrounded by his loving family.


Pre-deceased by his wife Joan.

Sadly missed by his adoring daughters Gráinne, Sharon and Lisa, sons in law Mark and Seán, brother Fr Ronald Dunne, grandchildren Aaron, Rob and his wife Cailín, Liam, Kate, Alex, Seán and Mia, great granddaughter Sadie, sisters in law Una and Dorothy, extended family and friends.

The death has occurred of Bernard (Barney) Kelly, Hamilton Place, Trim, Co. Meath, 19th October 2025.


Peacefully, at his home, surrounded by his heartbroken family and friends. Much loved husband of Nolene, and devoted father of Luke, Ultan, Bodhi, Hamish and Elijah. Beloved son of Bernard and Teresa, brother of Edel and Michael, son in law of James and Agnes. Barney will be greatly missed by his family, brothers and sisters-in-law, extended family, and many friends.

The death has occurred of Margaret Anderson (née Byrne/ Andrews), Cherrybrook, Ardee, Co. Louth, 17th October 2025 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda (after a short illness).


Beloved wife of Alistair, Margaret will be greatly missed by her heartbroken husband, sister Pauline and family, kind neighbours and friends.

It is with great sadness we announce the unexpected but peaceful passing of Sean Kennedy, at his home, Cloughbrack, Ballivor, Co. Meath.


Predeceased by his beloved parents Nicholas and Ann Kennedy.


Sean will be greatly missed by his loving sisters Maura (Waterford) and Teresa Nangle (Castlepollard), his good friend Joan Mullen, his nieces Claire and Jane, nephew Paul, his brother-in-law John, his uncle and aunt Kevin and Helen Lynch, extended relatives and his wonderful neighbours and friends, to whom Sean’s family and Joan offer their sincere gratitude for their support and kindness.

The death has occurred of Scott Potterton, Castletown, Athboy, Co. Meath and formerly Freffans, Laracor, Trim, 1st October 2025. Peacefully, after a short illness.


Scott was much loved and will be deeply missed by his wife Vivienne, his son Simon, daughters Caroline and Marianne, cherished grandchildren Adam, Ross, Poppy, Finn, and Alice, daughter-in-law Nicola, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.
