EMDR is a supportive therapy that helps young people work through tough or overwhelming experiences at their own pace.
It uses simple techniques, like guided eye movements or gentle tapping, to help the brain process memories so they don’t feel as heavy or upsetting.
Many adolescents find it helpful for anxiety, big emotions, or things that have felt hard to move past, helping them feel calmer, more confident, and better able to cope with everyday life.
